A Tennessee man has been charged with murder for allegedly shooting and killing his neighbor — after he asked her to scoop up his dog’s poop in their shared yard.
Knoxville police responded around 6 p.m. Saturday to a report of a shooting at a home on East Oldham Avenue, where they found an injured man who was pronounced dead at the scene, WATE reported.

Stefen White, 34, had been arguing with a neighbor when the neighbor asked him to pick up his puppy’s poop from their shared area, according to the store.
The suspect pulled out a gun and shot the man in the chest, according to an arrest warrant obtained by the newspaper.
White was charged with second-degree murder and was booked into the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility.
Police said detectives are still investigating the incident.
The victim has not been identified.
