Tensions Rise On ‘The View’ As Joy Behar SNAPS At Cohost Sunny Hostin

Joy Behar does it again!

The television personality who was recently seen reacting angrily to his co-host on “The View” reacted similarly to Sunny Hostin during a debate over former US Vice President Mike Pence’s attempted joke.

Hostin interrupted Behar as he discussed his reaction to Pence’s comments, assuming that he had finished speaking. Behar, however, exploded in exasperation and declared, “I’m not done yet!”

He previously slammed co-host Ana Navarro for asking one of the show’s producers to give his perspective on a controversial subject.

Behar once again responded quickly to one of her co-hosts, just as fans had seen her do earlier this month.

This time, the 80-year-old TV broadcaster gave his take on the “attempted joke” made by former US Vice President Mike Pence while giving a speech at a political roast.

Pence has said that US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who is gay, is “the only person in human history who has had children, and we all have postpartum depression.”

Behar felt the joke was inappropriate, saying on the show, “I want to talk to the joke,” and began criticizing Pence.

She stopped in the middle of her monologue, leading co-host Hostin to believe that Behar was done. However, the comic abruptly cuts Hostin off as he expresses his opinion, saying, “I’m not done yet!” and continued his words.

Part of Behar’s comments about Pence was how the former second-in-command of the White House has a “history of homophobia.”

He also said, “This is a man who has always opposed gay marriage, he opposed the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, and even more egregiously, as Governor of Indiana, he exacerbated the HIV epidemic in Southern Indiana by waiting to legalize needle exchange and cover up parenthood. planned which is the only HIV testing site in the area.”

“The View” showrunner bluntly declared that the public servant “should be ashamed of himself.”

Since the comments from Pence went viral, they have drawn criticism from the White House and from the LGBTQ+ community. However, despite the backlash, the former vice president has yet to issue an apology.

Joy Behar Acts Angry With Ana Navarro

In a previous episode of “The View,” Behar became frustrated with Navarro’s attempts to ask the producer a question, per Sun.

At the time, the show’s moderators were debating whether it was cultural appropriation when non-Indians wore Saris to Indian weddings. The discussion begins with Navarro revealing that he attended his first Indian wedding, also stating that he had been told they were extravagant.

Hostin was concerned, saying he knew where Navarro could rent a dress for the wedding. Giving her own take on the matter, Behar stated, “Ana brings up a good point; she doesn’t know if it’s a cultural appropriation to wear a sari to an Indian wedding,” to which Hostin replied, “Not if they ask for it.”

Instead of answering directly, Navarro asked for the opinion of one of the show’s producers but was abruptly cut off by Behar, who said, “What are you asking her?”

It’s unclear why Behar lost her temper and snapped at Navarro, but she did it again on the program.

This happened when the host chatted with Top Chef’s Gail Simmons about her ambitious travel plans for the upcoming new season of the program.

Behar was about to end the conversation to run an ad when Navarro loudly interrupted her.

The latter told Gail, “By the way, I want you to pick me up when you go to Spain.” Gail then replied, “I’m in.”

Behar appeared displeased with Navarro’s behavior, then turned to the producer and rolled her eyes before gesturing angrily at her co-host. He also slammed the panel hard saying, “We must go!”
