Andreea Dragoi wears pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
The SJSU swimmer, dubbed “The Olivia Dunne of the Pool,” shows off her toned figure in a new Instagram share. Dragoi rocks a curve-hugging ensemble, which can be seen from the Story.
Andreea Dragoi Looks Beautiful In Pink Dress
The clip shows Dragoi standing in front of a bathroom mirror. He used his phone’s rear camera to record the fit check. The model held the ends of her blonde locks before placing a hand on her chest — all while staring at the screen of the mobile device.
Dragoi then flashed a big smile and approached the mirror — giving her online audience a better look at her outfit.
Everything Is Highlighted For A Special Reason
Dragoi styled her hair in soft waves with a center part and enhanced her attractive features with makeup. She also wore accessories, including a pair of hoop earrings, a beautiful necklace and a ring.
The athlete revealed she attended the “Pink Party” for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, organized by Babes In Toyland.
According to the organization, the charity event will benefit HER Too Non-Profit, which released a statement on their Instagram account:
“Thank you for choosing us to be the breast cancer nonprofit to benefit from the Pink Party! We appreciate all the support to help us with our mission of helping women who need financial assistance with the cost of their breast cancer treatment!”
Selfie Queen
Over the weekend, Dragoi also took an “airport selfie”, and showed it on his Instagram Story.
The swimmer wore a white crop top featuring long sleeves and a plunging neckline from Vasaro Style. Underneath, she wore gray joggers with a thick belt, which sat right at her waist.
Andreea Dragoi Can’t Profit From Her NIL
Dragoi is constantly compared to LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne, the highest-paid female athlete in the NCAA with an estimated valuation of about $3.5 million annually, according to On3’s name, image and likeness (NIL) tracker.
Unfortunately for Dragoi, who is one of the most followed NCAA swimmers on Instagram, he was unable to profit from his NIL while on US soil due to F-1 visa guidelines. In addition, the Romanian beauty cannot sign with a talent agency due to her status as an international student, leaving her to manage all offers abroad.
“I did everything myself,” said Dragoi. “It made me learn a lot from the process and how to manage everything. Everybody thinks I have a team behind me at this point, and I’m like, No.’”
That situation led Dragoi to turn down three or four brand deals each month because of federal immigration and tax laws.
Work as a Lifeguard
To earn money, Dragoi works 20 hours a week as a lifeguard at SJSU, in addition to 20 hours of weekly training for the Spartan swimming and diving program.
“In my case, I’m financially independent and I need to get a job on campus,” explained the swimmer. “Everybody was like, ‘Oh my God, he’s a savior.’ But the thing is, I have no other choice. It’s the only work I can do, being on campus, because of my visa. Busy after busy which will be easier if we can monetize our NIL.”
Dragoi said that everything can be “frustrating.”
He added, “I hope there will be another loophole or new rule that will allow international student athletes to earn from NIL deals. After all, we’re all athletes, right? We all follow our dreams, we pursue our goals, and we want to monetize our names we too.”
