Olivia Wilde has been accused by a former nanny of leaving her rescue dog, Gordon, to spend time with Harry Styles.
Last week, a nanny who used to work for Wilde and her ex-fiancé, Jason Sudeikis, did an all-out interview with Daily Mail.
She revealed A LOT of incriminating information about her tumultuous celebrity relationship and affair with Styles.

When the “Don’t Worry Darling” actor/director met Styles on the set of the movie, the nanny claimed that Wilde woke up and ditched his golden retriever to spend more time with the singer.
“He came to visit and said, ‘We need to find Gordon a new home,'” nonchalantly told the nanny The Daily Mail. “Jason doesn’t really care about animals and wants him out of their house as soon as possible.”
The sitter went on to say she arranged for Gordon to be rehomed with her New York City dog walker, not to be confused with the Los Angeles dog walker.

Now, the animal rescue organization from which Wilde bought Gordon is speaking out in defense of the actor.
MaeDay Rescue in Los Angeles released a statement regarding Wilde’s handling of Gordon’s relocation.
They called Wilde a “responsible pet owner.”
Taking to Instagram late last week, MaeDay Rescue released the following statement, “This is Maeday Gordon’s adoptable dog, who we rescued in 2018 from a shelter with 4 of his peers. (Slide to see photos of the babies.) Maeday rescue founder @natalie will foster them and bottle feeding them until we find their perfect forever home. Well, you may have seen Gordy in the news lately and we want to set the record straight.”

“Gordy was adopted by @oliviawilde at 2 months old and after giving him lots of love and training and adventure adventures, she realized that Gordy doesn’t like the travel life and isn’t happy with small children. Gordy has formed a very strong bond with his dog walker and in Gordy’s best interest and after much thought and consideration, he has been re-homed to his Brooklyn dog walker,” the post continued. “Before this decision was made, Olivia called Maeday to discuss, and we were involved in the decision. We pride ourselves on finding the perfect forever home for our Maeday animals and every once in a while, an animal is happier in a different environment and that’s okay. Olivia is a huge animal advocate and rehomed Gordy out of compassion and love for him. The best part is that Gordy has his own IG @gord_sounds and as you can see, he’s living his best life! We feel we should share this because we hate that the media paints a Maeday user in a bad light. Thank you for adopting @oliviawilde and being a responsible pet owner. 🐶”
The Instagram account disabled comments on the post.
Wilde has not publicly addressed the allegations made by the nanny about her changing Gordon, but she and Sudeikis issued a joint statement regarding other allegations made by the nanny about their relationship.
Jason & Olivia Slam Nanny Claims!

On October 17, the exes joined in a joint statement denying everything the nanny did.
They tell TMZ“As parents, it is heartbreaking to learn that a former nanny to our two young children would choose to publicly make false and vile accusations about us.”
The former couple said the nanny’s allegations were part of “an 18-month campaign of harassment against us, as well as our loved ones, close friends and colleagues.”
The nanny was fired in February 2021 and had worked for the couple for three years.
Neither Wilde nor Sudeikis would endorse the nanny’s bad mouth.
In a joint statement, the “Don’t Worry Darling” director and “Ted Lasso” star slammed the nanny for making “false and despicable” allegations.
The nanny’s allegations involve Sudeikis finding out about Wilde’s affair with Harry Styles through her Apple watch.
He also claimed the actress lay in front of Wilde’s car to stop him from going to see the former One Direction member.
For context, Wilde claimed their relationship ended in early 2020; however, their separation became public in November 2020.
