Earlier yesterday, news broke that the supermodel’s trip to the sun and sand-filled Cayman Islands hit a sour note when she was arrested for possession of marijuana. The older of the famous Hadid sisters ran into trouble when her private jet arrived at Owen Roberts International Airport on July 10.
According to a TMZ report, when the bag went through the scanner, authorities saw something, and then Customs & Border Control officers physically searched the bag as well. They found a small amount of weed and other paraphernalia. Although the authorities ruled that the marijuana, or “marijuana” in its name, as well as the smoking equipment, were for personal use, Hadid and her friend were still arrested on charges of importing marijuana and importing equipment for smoking marijuana.
He was processed at the Royal Cayman Islands Detention Center and soon posted bail, pending further action on the drug possession case. Since she has a medical license for the use, she was released on a $1,000 fine that she paid, during which the 28-year-old mom posted an update for her fans on Instagram.

In 2021, Zayn Malik pleaded no contest to harassing Yolanda who claimed he had pushed her into a wardrobe. Fans were also divided at the time, and now is no different with one Twitter user taking a dig at another, writing, “Yolanda must have been horrible; weed gives you an appetite. His children are not allowed to eat.”

Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid is keeping calm and enjoying her vacation, as evident from her social media. Shortly after the news of her arrest, Hadid posted several photos on her Instagram story, dressed in a tiny green bikini.
She also had celebrity support, with Kate Hudson sending her a red heart emoji and Selma Blair also commenting: “Those college girls are on the track team!”
Many other fans also chimed in with one seeing the humor, “He won the idgaf war lmao.”
