Mowry shared a video montage showing different scenes from her recovery and healing and how she bounced back from difficult emotions after the divorce.
“Recovering from divorce felt like a whirlwind journey. I discovered that through the process, divorce is not where we arrive, it is entering a new chapter of life with many nuances, and there is no one-size-fits-all guidebook,” he said in the video.
“One moment you’re relieved, feeling like you’ve conquered something important. Then suddenly, a wave of emotion hits you again. It’s a side of divorce that’s not often discussed, especially when there are children involved.”

The “Sister, Sister” star went on to talk about everything she’s learned through the process and how she’s “trying to be a role model” for her two children, her son Cree, 12, and daughter Cairo, 5. Mowry also touched on what she has . done to help him “release emotional buildup.”
“You try to be a role model, teach them resilience and self-care. You try different things to calm down and release emotional upsurges – exercise, journaling your thoughts, meditation and seeking therapy to deal with the breakup and your dreams for the future,” she shared.

“It may sound cliché, but time really does have a way of easing pain. One day, I believe I will be able to look back on this time with nothing but warmth and gratitude for the beautiful children that were brought into my life and stronger. version of myself that emerges from experience.”

Tia Mowry Asks Her Social Media Followers To Share Their Stories With Her
Mowry’s powerful message continued by asking his followers to share their experiences with him because there is “power in dialogue.”
“As women, we take back our power by sharing our stories and bringing any deep shame we hold from this experience to light,” she concluded her video.
More than 7,000 comments filled the comment section of his Instagram post. Many told Mowry how proud they were of him and others shared their personal stories.
“I am so proud of you. You are the epitome of grace and unconditional love. My heart sings for your eternal peace, growth and happiness,” wrote one.

Another shared, “Yes!!!!!! I was married 20 years before I finally found it in myself to leave. It was so hard but so necessary. We women get the short end of the stick too often. We sacrifice everything to that’s a little for ourselves in return. We are nurturers and givers. A lot of times people take too much. Tia Mowry Often Shares Empowering Content
The mother of two often shares relatable content on social media for others who have gone through divorce and are healing. As she empowers herself to heal, she also helps others do the same.
Last month, Mowry shared a video with the caption, “I LOVE WHEN I REMEMBER WHO I AM.”
Her caption goes on to remind everyone to be “extra,” “feminine and fierce.”
“Be a killer. Be soft. Whoever you are, be ALL of YOU,” she wrote. “Love HIM. Hug HIM. Validate HIM. Because he is WORTHY and ONE OF ONE.”
The video is set to Eve’s song, “Who’s That Girl?” and shows Mowry embracing, affirming and loving “HE.”

Tia Mowry Announces Her Separation From Cory Hardrict At The End Of 2022

Mowry announced her separation from her husband, Cory Hardrict, after 14 years of marriage in October 2022. She shared the news in an Instagram post.
“I’ve always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I want to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the caption reads.
“This decision is never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain our friendship as co-parents with our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we spent together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we begin this new chapter to move forward in our lives.”
Mowry and Hardrict finalized their divorce in April 2023, and share legal and physical custody of their two children.
