Tiffany Seeley is the ex-wife of NFL star Ryan Mallett who has passed away.
Ryan was named as the victim in a statement released by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office regarding the “apparent drowning” that occurred near Destin, Florida on Tuesday.
“We extend our condolences to his family, friends and loved ones on his tragic death,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook statement. “The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the drowning that claimed the life of a tourist in the Gulf of Mexico this afternoon.”
Around 2:12 p.m. local time, emergency personnel were called to a beach in Destin, Florida, where several people “reportedly struggled to get back to shore.” Ryan “was not breathing when he was pulled” from the water and “life-saving measures were immediately performed.”
Ryan was pronounced dead when he was taken from the beach to the hospital, the statement added.

Tiffany ended the post with, “For me, I realized I hated the person I was going to be because I was always trying to change things that were out of my control. I try to force myself to be happy where I am, force others to show me the love I know I deserve, and force what I think should happen next to happen. Well, the year is almost over and I realize I won’t try to force anything anymore. All we can do is change what we can and handle what we can’t with wisdom and kindness. My advice to myself for 2021 is that you can’t force things.”
