On Friday evening, the rising star took to Instagram to share three different photos of her dancing in a sparkly yellow bathing suit. She wore a white knitted cardigan that wrapped around her body while showing off her toned figure. She paired her yellow swimsuit with knee-high yellow boots and let her blonde hair fall freely over her shoulders. In the caption of this Instagram post, she dropped three dancing emojis followed by two disco ball emojis.
Fans were quick to shower her steamy photo with heart and fire eye emojis. “Queen of pop,” commented one fan. “You are so iconic,” wrote another follower. “Your songs are so good,” a third fan chimed in as his followers gushed over his recently released EP, “AR.”

In an August 2023 interview with Vogue ahead of the release of her first EP “AR,” Addison admitted, “I feel very grateful and satisfied,” adding, “I was a little nervous, but I’m less nervous now. I think I’ve had enough time with the songs -this song, and now I can breathe a sigh of relief that they will finally be officially out in the world.”
“I grew up a huge MTV fan, watching all the music videos and recreating music videos in my bedroom, and was like, I want to do that one day,” she says of this whirlwind journey. “So it’s always a dream, but it feels like a very distant dream, you know? I feel like a lot of people have that dream, but it feels so far away. Growing up in Louisiana too… it’s a very different world. It’s crazy. But for me, it always refers to the joy of performing.”

To realize her dream, she started taking singing lessons during the shutdown of the COVID-19 pandemic and released her hit single “Obsessed” in March 2021. However, not everyone is hyped about her career change.
“I wrote a lot of songs, obviously, like someone does when they’re trying to figure out what they want to say, and what kind of music they want to make,” he says. “When I did that, I brought out ‘Obsessed’, and…”
“I’m pretty hard on myself in general. I have very high standards for myself, and that can be my downfall sometimes. I just want people to know that I really care about music and I take it seriously. I released ‘Obsess’ and, you know, people didn’t like it as much as I did,” he admitted.
“I think I had a very fragile sense of self at the time,” he recalls, admitting that he almost gave up on his musical dreams entirely. “I’m 19 years old, you know? It kind of crushed me for a while. I started to feel a lot of self-doubt, and the big dreams I was chasing, I just thought, ‘Maybe I’m not good enough to do this.’”
Fans Convince Addison To Never Give Up On Her Dreams!

Fortunately, fans on Reddit and Twitter made him reconsider giving up on his career. “I started to notice that there was a group of people who were very interested in them, and it restored some of the excitement about it all for me,” he said. “I was really surprised, after what felt like a long time, people were so interested and wanted to see me continue. So I began to realize that the only way I could fail was to not continue. I think that’s the most important thing I’ve learned in the last two and a half years.”
Now that he’s released his first EP, he’s ready to experiment with his style. “I just want to hear everything, I want to try everything, I want to do everything,” he said. “And I want to work with people who will push me out of my comfort zone.”
“I feel like I know myself now, and I know what I want to do, and I know where I want to go, and have full control to do it exactly how I envision it. I want this EP to be the final note to a few years ago, and a stepping stone forward in my career,” he added.
