This was a major ‘OMG’ moment for her daughter Savannah Chrisley.

The 25-year-old explained what it was like to see his father with a more natural face for the first time in years.

During this week’s episode of the “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” podcast, the reality star admitted, “I will say it’s weird to see her go gray. Like, really weird. He’s definitely sported some color over the years, and is now seen with gray hair. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh!’”

This is not the first time the young business woman has spoken about her parents’ prison conditions.

Todd is serving a 12-year sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute Pensacola in Florida for bank fraud and tax evasion.

His mother, Julie Chrisley, is serving a seven-year sentence at FMC Lexington, KY.

During the episode that aired on January 31, Savannah revealed that her father already had a job in prison.

“I believe God put him there to really make a difference. He works at an absolutely amazing church and I couldn’t be prouder of my dad and the man,” he said on his podcast. “I get to hear all these people’s stories and how he’s impacted their lives, and encouraging change and just everyone coming to know Jesus is really amazing. So that calms me down. It tells me they are ok.”

Overall, Savannah says her dad is “doing good.”

“There are difficult days, there are struggles. We talked to him, we emailed him, we were able to meet him,” he explained.

This is something Savannah and her siblings are very grateful for.

The 25-year-old was able to communicate with Todd and not have to communicate with him through coated glass.

As for Julie, she is currently playing at FMC Lexington, Kentucky.

FMC is described as an administrative security federal medical center with an adjacent minimum security satellite camp.”

“My mother, she is fine. I know it sounds really crazy for me to say that. My mother, she has made friends. He is busy. He goes to church, he works, he plays spades. He watches over everyone,” Savannah revealed.

Since her parents reported themselves to jail on January 17, the reality TV star has taken full custody of her younger brother, Grayson, 16, and adopted niece, Chloe, 10.

That has weighed heavily on Savannah.

“Chloe, at 10, is trying to process them missing and missing her mom and we were driving down the road the other day and Chloe was so angry about it and she just said, ‘Why, why? They’re not bad people. They don’t belong. there. Why?'” he explained. “I’m trying every day to bring mom and dad home. I’m working with the legal team. I’m reaching out to anyone I can possibly reach to help me. I humbled myself and said, ‘ Hey I need help…. Can you help, help me.’”

Savannah described having to try and reason with Chloe about the power of prayer.
