Tom Brady has spoken out about his nine-year-old daughter Vivian’s recent comments that had a big impact on him.
During this week’s episode of “Let’s Go!” podcast, the Tampa Bay QB recalls how his youngest son showed his displeasure on the football field.

“My daughter always says, ‘Dad, you don’t have a happy face out there.’ And I tried!” he said. “I wish I would have had more awareness of what that frown looks like, but I’m doing my best to try to get to a better place and a better peace of mind.”
Before his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, Brady had a “tough week” at work.
In August, he took 11 days off during the preseason due to “personal reasons.”

At this point, Brady and Gisele are living apart and their marriage is looking bleak.
In addition to some disappointing losses, the QB was fined $11k in October for kicking Falcons player Grady Jarrett.
When Vivian criticized her facial expressions on the field, Brady praised her daughter for being “No. 1 cheerleader.”

He explained how he was always “excited” to watch him play.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” he added.

He has a 15-year-old son, Jack, from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan. Gisele and Bridget have a great co-parenting relationship.

Last month, the former Victoria’s Secret model and NFL star finally announced their split in social media posts on their respective accounts.
The couple finalized their divorce on October 28.
Through her Instagram Stories, Gisele opened up about her and Tom’s decision to end their 13-year marriage.

“Grateful for our time together, Tom and I have finalized our divorce amicably. My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they deserve,” the statement read. “The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have separated and although it is difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed. For the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always. I respectfully ask that our privacy be respected during this sensitive time.”

QB’s statement on their divorce read, “In the last few days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from each other after 13 years of marriage. We reached this decision well and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always make sure they receive the love and attention they deserve. We came to this decision to end our marriage after much consideration. Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, as is the experience of many people who go through the same thing every day around the world. However, we only wish the best for each other as we move forward with whatever new chapter in our lives is yet to be written.”
The star QB concluded his statement, “And we respectfully ask for privacy and respect as we navigate what will happen in the coming days and weeks. Thank you.”
