Nikki Haley’s top campaign aide worked as a lobbyist for a dark money giant funneling millions to Joe Biden and the Democrats in 2020, according to a report that drew the ire of her GOP rivals on Saturday.
Tyler Clark, Haley’s current New Hampshire state director, worked on behalf of the nonprofit Sixteen Thirty Fund in 2020, according to a lobbying disclosure form seen by the Washington Examiner.
The fund is one of a network of slush funds run by Arabella Advisers, a dark-money clearinghouse that collects millions from left-wing billionaires such as George Soros, Hansjörg Wyss, Bill Gates and Pierre Omidyar and funnels money to progressive candidates and lobbyists. .
The Sixteen Thirty Fund alone distributed $410 million in shadow funding to Democrats in the last presidential election cycle, The Post has reported.
“Haley’s campaign is not only funded by Democrats – it’s also run by Democrats!” Ron DeSantis campaign posted on X.

The fund also launched the Demand Justice pressure group, which spent $5 million in 2018 in an effort to thwart Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court — and then, in 2021, ran an aggressive ad campaign pushing for Justice Steven Breyer’s retirement.
Breyer caved to pressure in 2022, allowing Biden to put Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson on the nation’s highest court.
Clark’s work for the Sixteen Thirty Fund spanned four years as a public and government affairs advisor for Preti Strategies, a Boston-based lobbying firm.

He went on to lobby other left-leaning groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union and the American Federation of Teachers, before joining Haley’s campaign last year.
