Spelling highlighted the importance of the leg brace in the overlay text, writing, “Stitches from his leg surgery and 2nd throw on…@liammcdermott.” His words proved the teenager’s recovery was going well, a milestone his siblings celebrated with traditional gestures.

The clip shows the youngest of the family, Beau, lying on a white linen bed by Liam’s injured leg. The black actress, who initially did not have any graffiti on her in the first post, now holds the first daughter’s name, “Stella,” written in white ink and decorated with hearts.
While Stella displayed impressive writing, the same could not be said for little Beau, who struggled to write his name all over his brother’s cast. The cute angel looked proud of her work in a different capacity, smiling brightly for the camera as she posed with Liam’s legs in his pyjamas.
“Cutie,” she captioned the photo alongside her children’s social media accounts. As noted, the mother of five has never said what happened to her son’s leg, but his recovery update comes days after she gave him some encouragement before his surgery.
The TV personality shared a picture of Liam in a hospital bed with a white sheet covering him. The teenager has a stoic expression, with her eyes directed away from the camera as she receives an IV infusion through her arm.
Ejaan admitted her son’s surgery made her anxious, writing: “My first baby is waiting to have leg surgery. Not sure who is more nervous, him or mom.”
She added a note of support at the bottom, praising Liam for taking it like a champ with the words: “Proud of your bravery @liammcdermott. And things can only get better after this!”

The two shared a moment outside the Pinstripe restaurant before going to find their car and ended up beaming up in a Tesla with the mystery man behind the wheel. Although Ejaan wasn’t photographed carrying any packages, she announced her Christmas shopping had begun on Instagram, writing:
“It’s December 22nd and I’ve officially bought my first present for Christmas. 5 Christmas lists to tackle. 3 days to do it. Missed the @amazon prime cut. Now I have to brave the mall. Ruining this single mom’s Christmas 2023.”
Although Spelling described herself as a “single mom” for Christmas, it wasn’t her first holiday from McDermott. The former couple did not spend Thanksgiving as a family, with the patriarch announcing his plans to enjoy the event with friends at Freedom House, a quiet living facility.
