A new report claims that Dean McDermott is “furious” about the fact that his estranged wife, Tori Spelling, along with their children, are living in an RV. A source disclosed to Daily Mail that McDermott strongly believes Spelling is not struggling financially and only chooses this life situation to gain “sympathy”.

An insider close to McDermott relayed that she and Spelling’s friends were completely surprised by her choice. “They don’t understand why he did this except out of sympathy. He has money,” the source revealed.

They also stated that McDermott’s “main concern” was their five children. He was reportedly furious with Spelling’s refusal to accept “offers from friends to stay at their house.”

“Dean doesn’t think children should live like this and of course he’s angry. She’s mad at Tori because she’s acting like a child,” the source said. “She had every opportunity to make this marriage work and instead, she fostered the narrative for years that she was done with Dean.”

Amidst her unstable living situation, Spelling was recently seen using a shared campground toilet to freshen up while staying in a California RV with her children. The 50-year-old actor looked comfortable in a luxurious white robe, carrying toiletries and water to a public toilet at 6am on Thursday, as pictures obtained by Page Six.

Previous pictures obtained by Daily Mail shows Spelling and her five children living in an RV in a Ventura County, Calif., campground after leaving the $100-a-night motel they were staying in because of their three-year-old mold-infested home.

The insider stated that Spelling is really struggling financially and is trying to manage her situation while taking care of her children. Sources told Entertainment Tonight that the former reality star is “doing her best to make things work and take care of her kids” and sees their living arrangement “as a mini-vacation rather than a living situation.”

Despite coming from a very wealthy Hollywood family and being the daughter of the late TV icon Aaron Spelling, Tori has been plagued by financial problems in her life. Despite her privileged upbringing and income from reality TV, Tori once admitted in 2013 that she struggled to save money.

“Google thought I was worth fifteen million dollars,” he revealed in his memoir, Spell It Like It Is. “Fifteen million dollars! I don’t have a million.”

“We have a little income here and there, but no savings other than our retirement account. I have a bad habit of denying my finances. I think if I don’t deal with it, then it’s not true,” added Spelling, per Page Six.
