Tory Lanez’s family received another blow after it was reported that the mother of his son was involved in a serious car accident.

The mother of Tory’s son Kai was involved in a horrific car accident and claimed serious injuries. While he survived, he was in bad shape and has chosen to sue the other driver of the car involved.
Chassagne was last seen at Tory’s trial supporting her baby daddy and hoping 10 years won’t be his fate. Unfortunately, it was, and is, this. According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, he is suing Angelo Perry Thrower.

He also sued Geico General Insurance Company and Vera-Williamson Investments aka Vera Buick GMC. The accident happened in December 2022, he was in a car that was hit by Angelo’s car while out and about in Florida, more specifically, the Pembroke Pines area.

Raina claims that Angelo “has a duty to operate and/or maintain the motor vehicle he drives in such a safe and reasonable manner as to control the vehicle so that the vehicle does not collide with any other vehicle or pedestrian.”
The legal documents refer to him as “negligent” and claim he “negligently operated and/or maintained the aforementioned motor vehicle causing it to collide with a motor vehicle in which the Plaintiff was a passenger.”

The car accident was so bad that Chassagne claimed the accident caused permanent significant and grievous bodily harm. He also claimed disability, disability, physical disability, discomfort, mental anguish, loss of ability to enjoy life, loss of income for hospital expenses, and loss of ability to earn money in the future.

Geico is not here for the accusation. They denied any wrongdoing and claimed Raina was not wearing her seat belt at the time. “The Plaintiff was prepared to use a fully operational seat belt which, had it been used properly, would have substantially reduced or prevented the damages claimed by the Plaintiff.”
They claim that it was his choice not to wear a seat belt that affected him. “The Plaintiff’s failure to wear a seat belt properly was negligent and the damages claimed should be reduced in proportion to the Plaintiff’s negligence.”
However, the police report pointed the finger at Angelo as the guilty party. He ran a red light and as a result, the accident occurred and both cars were towed.

This was the last thing Chassagne needed, just a few weeks ago that his baby daddy was sentenced to 10 years on gun charges and shot Megan Thee Stallion in the leg. She’s really a single mom now because there’s only so much Tory can do from behind bars.
Being involved in a car accident where he claims disability is a dramatic scenario is another thing to add to the plate.
