They said, “Tory fears for his life and safety in prison. He felt like an immediate and direct target because of his celebrity status.”

Another report revealed that Lanez was kept in Administrative Isolation and “escorted to a bathroom where he showered himself.” The “Hurts Me” rapper is also kept in solitary if he goes to the yard and brings all the food to his cell.

So, he’s hoping his lawyer will be able to continue to fight for his freedom while remaining innocent. It’s all chaos.”

According to the news outlet, some other inmates at the North Kern prison were very violent. An inmate who reportedly served several murder sentences was recently charged with first-degree murder for the death of his cellmate. Another inmate was recently convicted of assaulting two staff at the prison.

Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in August after being found guilty of shooting Megan in both legs after a July 2020 party.

Lanez promised his fans that he will never stop fighting for his freedom. He wrote, “I stand by my stance of refusing to apologize for something I didn’t do. I’ve faced adversity all my life, and every time it looked like I was going to lose, I came out on top. This was nothing but a moment where my back was against the wall, and I refused to stop fighting until I won. Hard times don’t last, but people do.”
