Transgender woman loses bid to sue ex for throwing out her surgically removed testicles: ‘We’re talking about my nuts’

A Michigan transgender woman who sued her ex-boyfriend for removing his surgically removed testicles has had her case thrown out by a judge — who also dismissed the ex’s counterclaim for being “embarrassed” by the case.

Brianna Kingsley, 40, last year filed a small claims petition alleging her ex, William Wojciechowski, 37, “retains ownership of my surgically extracted testicles, stored in (a) Mason jar, stored in the refrigerator next to eggs.”

The Pontiac resident demanded the immediate return of “specimens of human remains” in a handwritten affidavit, in addition to $6,500 in damages.

“We’re talking about my beans. … I want them in my refrigerator — not his,” Kingsley said at the court hearing. “The damage is the loss of these beans.”

Meanwhile, Wojciechowski said he had his testicles removed — and filed a counterclaim for the same amount, claiming he was “humiliated” by the coverage of the crazy case by “worldwide news outlets,” the Detroit News reported.

But District Judge Jeremy Bowie denied both of their claims, calling the whole thing a “washer” during a contentious hearing on Wednesday — adding that the decision could not be appealed, according to the outlet.

The judge noted how difficult it is to calculate possible damages in such a peculiar case.

“I can put the dollar amount, say, if you lose your job at $16 an hour,” he said. “But for testicles, I can’t put a number on it.”

The judge said Kingsley had the opportunity to take his testicles when an Oakland County sheriff’s deputy accompanied him to his ex-girlfriend’s home in January 2023.

At the time, Kingsley had just been released from jail, where he spent three days and was fined $100 for violating a personal protection order he had filed against her, the Detroit News reported.

“We allow a one-time visit with a sheriff’s officer in a situation like that for people to come back to get their stuff,” Bowie said.

A judge dismissed Kingsley’s claim, which sought $6,500 in damages, calling the case a “wash”. William Wojciechowski’s counterclaim seeking $6,500 for “insult” was also thrown out. Detroit News

“Ms. Kingsley failed to take the testicles out of the refrigerator at that time. … If they were that important to her, she had the opportunity to grab them, and she didn’t,” he said during the trial.

Wojciechowski told the judge he had his testicles removed in July.

“It’s rotting in my fridge, and it’s disgusting – I have food in there that I want to eat,” she said. “He didn’t keep it in a biohazard container like he should have.”

He told her his surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in March 2022 cost $20,000, but noted that the government covered the charge because he was disabled, according to the outlet.

“The state pays for that, you don’t. You will not be unjustly enriched,” the judge told him.

The two said they met on Facebook Community in April 2020 and moved in together in the fall of 2021 in a house Wojciechowski bought. They separated in December 2022.

Kingsley says he puts his testicles in a jar and keeps them in the fridge “because I deal with trauma with comedy. Shakespeare did it.”

She went to Wojciechowski’s house a second time after taking her belongings, but she said he denied her entry because she felt he was bothering her.

Bowie said he had the right to deny her entry because she was already in a month earlier.

Kingsley appeared to poke fun at his missing gonads in a 2022 TikTok video titled “The Unboxing of Dee’s Nutz.”

Inside, he opens the box and pulls out a bag labeled biohazard — smiling sheepishly as he puts his finger to his mouth and rewraps it, suggesting it’s his testicles and ends with a dance.

In October 2020, Kingsley pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and was sentenced to two months in prison after he pulled a knife on his then-roommate, also a trans woman, on Christmas Day.
