NFL star Travis Kelce has finally opened up about his romance with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
During a recent interview, the Kansas City Chiefs got candid about the beginning of his relationship with the singer.
Kelce and Swift have been dating for over five months now, and many are speculating that the couple is in it for the long haul, with a possible engagement in the near future.

In a frank chat with street wall journalKelce spoke in depth about the beginning of his much publicized romance with Swift.
The relationship of the two became the topic of conversation since they were rumored to be meeting. Swift’s surprise appearance at one of her games, where she was seen sitting next to the soccer player’s mother, Donna Kelce, confirmed their romance and sent the internet into a frenzy.
“I don’t know if I want to learn all that,” Kelce told the publication People magazinebefore recalling his initial attempt to impress Swift, which involved him making a friendship bracelet with her phone number, while at one of her Eras Tour shows in July.
“There must be someone he knows who knows who I am, in his corner [who said]: Yo! Did you know he was coming? I have someone playing Cupid,” revealed the 34-year-old. He added that he learned this from Swift herself after she contacted him.
Kelce continued, “He told me exactly what happened and how I was lucky enough to get him to contact me.”

However, in his interview with WSJKelce revealed that several members of Swift’s family helped her get her attention.
He said, “He’s probably going to hate me for saying this, but…when he came to Arrowhead, they gave him a big locker room as a locker room, and his little cousin was taking pictures…in front of my locker.”
Kelce later added of their first meeting, “When I met him in New York, we were already talking, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and, like, a conversation, and what happened from there would go from there. .”

“I never dealt with it. But at the same time, I’m not running from anything…” Kelce stated of her relationship with the Grammy award-winning singer.
He added, “The scrutiny he gets, how much he wears a magnifying glass on himself, every day, the paparazzi outside his house, outside every restaurant he goes to, after every flight he gets off, and he’s just living, enjoying life. When he acts like that, I better not be the one acting weird.”
Kelce talked about the similarities between his and Swift’s perspectives on family and work. He noted that he and the singer, whom he described as “funny” and “a genius,” are family-oriented.
“Everybody knows I’m a family man,” Kelce said. “His team is his family. His family does a lot in terms of touring, marketing, being around, so I think he has a lot of that value as well, which is right up my alley.”

The couple sent fans wild after kissing in public for the first time at her Eras Tour show in Buenos Aires. When a video clip of Swift yelling at Kelce in her song “Karma” went viral online, actress Hilarie Burton couldn’t help but predict that the couple would be engaged by May of next year.
“They’re going to have the most flannel, pie and red ribbon kind of Christmas…and then these babies are going to be engaged by May,” the “One Tree Hill” star said.
After a fan hit back at Burton about how Swift had “never done that for any other guy,” the actress emphasized, “Because every other guy makes her feel like she has to belittle her own work. This huge tree of meaty men is holding up a sign and sing along! Catch him as he runs offstage?!?!”
