Former President Donald Trump’s legal spokeswoman Alina Habba on Sunday suggested that he doesn’t need to do much prep work for his pending trial.
Attorney Alina Habba was asked on Fox News how Trump, 77, could fit his legal troubles into the 2024 campaign for the Republican presidential nomination.
“If it’s a normal person, honestly, Shannon, I can understand the concern. President Trump is not your normal person. He’s very smart,” Habba told “Fox News Sunday” host Shannon Bream.
“He also knows the facts because he lived them,” continued Habba. “What does he have to prepare, really? You don’t need to prepare much when you haven’t done anything wrong, so I’m not worried.”
Bream laid out a timeline of Trump’s various allegations and pointed out that he could face up to 700 years in prison if convicted of all 91 charges against him.
Habba, who serves as legal spokesman for Trump and general counsel for the Trump-supporting Save America PAC, predicted that the tight timeline would loosen up for the former president.
“This trial date will also move. It’s not realistic, it’s a farce, and no judge is going to say that you can have two trials at the same time in two different states because a lot of these things overlap,” he stressed.

“They have to go into October, November next year, again, by design,” Habba added, stressing that he had “zero concerns” about Trump’s candidacy for the presidency.
Last Thursday, Trump was sentenced to the notoriously filthy and vermin-infested Fulton County Jail on a 13-count indictment against him for alleged interference in the 2020 election in Georgia.

His campaign then touted a $7.1 million fundraising bonanza within 48 hours of the booking, which featured a mug shot of him with a scowling face.
In addition to the Fulton County indictment, he faces a 34-count indictment from Manhattan, a 40-count federal indictment for allegedly hiding classified documents, and a four-count federal indictment for alleged 2020 election subversion.
Trump has denied wrongdoing across the board.

The former president has pleaded not guilty to both federal charges and those brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
He is set to be arraigned on the Fulton County charges next month.
