The “Try Guys” founders recently admitted that they became aware of their colleague Ned Fulmer’s cheating weeks before it became public and committed to editing it out of their videos, both old and new.
Last week, the entertainment company came under the spotlight after Ned was found in a compromising position with the show’s producer, Alexandria Herring.
Ned married his wife, Ariel Fulmer, ten years ago, and the two have two children, Wesley, four, and Finley, one. Herring also has a serious commitment, having recently become engaged to her boyfriend of ten years, Will Thayer. After he was seen with the producers, Ned released an apology statement expressing his regret for his actions.
Shortly after, his wife, Ariel, issued a similar statement, thanking the public for reaching out to them. The two are likely to stick it out as they were spotted late last month with both of their wedding rings intact. Herring, on the other hand, may be in hot water with Thayer because she recently took down all of their photos from her social media pages.

‘Try Guys’ Give Timeline On How They Discovered Ned Fulmer’s Infidelity

In a recently released YouTube video, Keith Habersberger, Eugene Lee Yang, and Zach Kornfeld talk about the controversy surrounding their co-founder, Ned. They revealed that they knew about the fraudulent situation at least four weeks before it went viral. The video is called “what happened,” and in it, the three talk about what led to their decision to break up with Ned.
Kornfeld says, “By now, we’re assuming you’ve seen Reddit threads and TikToks and tweets and news articles. We want to give you a timeline of what happened and some transparency in our decision making.”
Habersberger continued the conversation, revealing that they had been alerted by some fans of Ned’s romantic behavior with an employee in public. In response, management spoke with the employee and confirmed the report. They also discovered that the relationship had been going on for quite some time.
Keith Habersberger Says They’re Shocked
After confirming the affair, Habersberger revealed that they were shocked because they had no prior knowledge that such an affair was taking place. “We just want you to know that we didn’t know this was happening,” he said. “All that information is as surprising to us as it is to you this week.”
Which explains that the management continues to contact several lawyers as well as public relations and Human Resources experts to make appropriate steps and avoid any unnecessary blow.
The 36-year-old explained, “We are very aware of how against the values of the company we have built and everyone who works here. This is something we take seriously, and we refuse to sweep it under the rug; that is not who we are, and that is not what we are fighting for.”

Ned’s dismissal from the company was announced on September 27; however, Kornfeld revealed they “signed a written agreement approving Ned’s removal as manager and employee” on September 16. He was noticeably absent from several recent videos with “Try Guys” as well as their social media posts.
In a move that Kornfeld revealed was quite expensive, the 35-year-old will be digitally erased from all “Try Guys” videos and will also be removed from their store merchandise and marketing products. The three also admitted that the findings of the investigation cannot be disclosed publicly for legal reasons.
Habersberger went on to state that the main reason the company took longer to bring the issue to light was because it directly affected “real people.” They eventually had to go public with the issue after photos and clips of Ned and Herring began circulating online.
‘Try Guys’ Asks Fans To Cultivate Patience

In the emotional video, Yang explained that the three were “very shocked and very hurt” by Ned’s actions, especially regarding the company they built from less than eight years ago. “We feel sad – not only personally but on behalf of our staff and fans who trust us,” he added.
“I don’t know that we can express the pain that we feel right now,” Kornfeld said. “It’s hard to re-watch old videos that we love and are proud of, we lost a friend, someone we built a company with, had a lot of memories with. […] We’re sorry this ever happened, and we don’t know what else to say.”
To cap off the YouTube clip, the “Try Guys” members ask fans to “practice” kindness about how they feel about the situation. They revealed that Herring, the publisher is the recipient of a lot of feedback, and the company will release news about updates in the future.
