follow Sun, Davis, now the prime suspect in Tupac’s 1996 murder, had “openly scoffed at the prospect of justice for years” before his arrest last Friday.

The Los Angeles native is said to have often bragged about his role in the hip-hop legend’s death and scoffed at the possibility of being brought to justice.

A source said, “He felt that the police would not take action against him two decades after the murder; he almost goes into hyperdrive talking and bragging about his role in the death.

“He would be at parties and events, enjoying the limelight, being considered the man who knew the secret of how Tupac passed.”

To make matters worse, Davis is reported to have an unusual level of confidence, often stating, “The police won’t do s—,” when questioned about his fears about possible arrest.

As for why Davis is now being charged despite how much time has passed since Tupac’s murder, insiders reveal that his “stupid attitude” and “lack of legal knowledge” are to blame.

Initially, Tupac’s case was the kind that would be described as cold, because the police did not have “strong enough evidence to move forward.” But with Davis continuing to brag about his alleged role, he’s suddenly become a person of interest.

Authorities then contacted the DA to see if they could make a case out of Davis’ comments and were given permission.

Meanwhile, throughout the period leading up to his arrest, Davis “ignored police who made several attempts to contact him.”

The source said, “The detective went to talk to them, and he told them, ‘You have nothing on me,’ and that’s why they took this action.”

A few months ago, police raided Davis’ home with a search warrant and recovered items that could become evidence when Davis’ case starts in court in a few days, per Mirror.

They found manuscripts, computers, telephones, digital storage devices, and several 40-caliber bullets.

At the time, a police source revealed that forensic tests would be performed on the bullets to see if “they had anything to do with the bullet” that killed Tupac.

“Microfibers or remnants of weapons or bullets could be the link,” said the source. “It will take some time to assess how the bullet played a role in this case.”

All evidence collected during Tupac’s death is still available and will be used during the current investigation. In the meantime, the detectives in charge “keep everything confidential,” sharing only the details of their investigation with the district attorney’s office.
