The “Bachelor” star said she often calls her father to help pay for dates with Hadid and that she doesn’t have a credit card and just hopes hers will keep swiping. She also talked about living with “Bachelor Nation” bean bag Matt James.

Tyler Cameron, a former contestant on season 15 of “The Bachelorette,” recently opened up about dating one of the most popular models in the world, especially since he only has $200 in his bank account. Cameron dated Gigi Hadid from August to October 2019 and recently discussed the experience on Jason Tartick’s “Trade Secrets” podcast.
Tartick shared his conversation with Cameron in which the reality TV star told him about his financial situation. “He [Tyler] went to me, ‘Man, I don’t know what I’m doing,'” Tartick said each Insider. “I got $5,000 in my bank account. I don’t know what my next job is, and I’m dating Gigi Hadid.” In response, Cameron corrected him, saying, “not even $5,000; I have $200.”
He Needs His Father’s Help To Pay His Dates

Speaking about her finances during her early days in the Big Apple, the reality star shared that she was squatting with fellow Bachelorette alum Matt James. “This was my early days living in New York City. I lived in Matt’s bean bag.” He added, “No money, but I’m like the happiest I’ve ever been because the world is wide open to me in New York City. I can do whatever I want.”
Although Cameron looks back on that period, he recalls several instances when he needed financial help to finance his dates with Hadid. “I remember I was going on a date, and I was like calling Pops in the bathroom,” she said. “I was like, Pops, I don’t think my credit card is going to work. I need you to send me money now. And he was like, you got it, kid. Go get it!”
He further revealed that, at that time, he only had a debit card and was not familiar with credit cards. “I got a straight debit card, so when you hit zero, you hit zero, you know. So I just crossed my fingers, hoped it swiped, and it kept swiping,” he said.

After his relationship with Hadid ended, Cameron was romantically linked to Camila Kendra from January 2021 to August 2021, and he briefly dated model Paige Lorenzo in the summer of 2022.
He was seen kissing Kristin Cavallari at a New Year’s Eve party, although Cavallari later clarified that they were just friends and there was nothing serious going on between them.
Although Cameron has previously shared stories of crashing into Matt James’ bean bag when he first arrived in New York City, he admitted last summer that they weren’t as close as they once were, mainly due to his relationship with Rachel Kirkconnell.

Since his early days in New York City, Cameron has certainly come a long way. The “Bachelor” star started his construction company in 2021.
In a 2021 YouTube video, the 30-year-old shared that he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps of building a house. He stated that building is his “passion”, and he wants to expand his business in his hometown. Cameron said, per People magazine“I’m going to start digging my roots here in Jupiter, building my own company, building my own house.”
In addition to his role as a contractor and reality TV personality, Cameron also serves as co-founder and ambassador for ABC Food Tours. This non-profit organization aims to help children in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
