DJ Envy and Tyrese Gibson’s feud took a turn for the worse when the “Fast & Furious” star called out the DJ over allegations he made about Gibson disrespecting his wife.
The actor disputed Envy’s claims while addressing the whole drama in a lengthy Instagram video, even providing a “receipt” to prove he was never disrespectful.
Gibson relayed text messages from last year to refute Envy’s claim that they blocked him until a month ago.
“If your wife stops me, if you stop me, how do we communicate about anything?” Gibson asked before stating that Envy’s claim was a “king’s lie”.
The singer’s receipts include a clip of his conversation with wife Envy when she shared a photo of his Rolls-Royce with him and another where she replied, “So beautiful,” to a photo of an island he bought in Turks and Caicos.
He also mentioned that Envy and his wife were not supportive during his difficult times even though he helped save their marriage.

Gibson also provided a different perspective, explaining that DJ Envy’s timeline of his behavior on psychological medications did not line up with any allegations of disrespect for Envy’s wife.
The “Sweet Lady” hitmaker stood her ground, saying she would never disrespect a co-worker’s partner.
Gibson and Envy’s feud began during an interview on Charlamagne Tha God’s radio show, “The Breakfast Club,” when the DJ was asked if he appreciated the actor stepping in to save his marriage.
This question opened a rift between Envy and Gibson, with the latter claiming she never felt appreciated and supported by the DJ, especially as she went through a divorce in 2020.

Last month, Gibson, accompanied by two associates known for providing him with construction services, began legal action against The Home Depot.
The lawsuit alleges that the three faced “extreme discrimination and racial profiling” during a visit to The Home Depot’s West Hills, California store in February.
Gibson and plaintiffs Eric Mora and Manuel Hernandez are seeking damages in excess of $1 million, reflecting his lifetime expenses at Home Depot locations. They also sought punitive damages and a declaratory judgment asserting that Home Depot’s actions violated California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act.

The lawsuit alleges that when Gibson, Mora, and Hernandez visited The Home Depot’s West Hills location on February 11, Tyrese decided to wait in his car while the others used his credit card for their purchases when fans recognized him in the store.
Although Gibson told the cashier they could use his credit card, the lawsuit claims the cashier refused, citing “store policy” and demanding ID. The manager would not speak to Gibson, leading to a heated discussion with the cashier before completing the transaction.
