A man who raped a woman after “saving” her from another sexual assault has pleaded guilty to the brutal attack after it was caught on live webcam.
Kerry Calvin Gasag was sentenced to 10 years after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a 34-year-old woman in a tourist hotspot in Florida, United States. Miami Herald report.
The victim initially thought Gasag, an Uber driver, rescued her from a separate sexual assault in the early hours of September 10, 2021.
Once she was in her car, Gasag continued to ask the woman for sex, eventually prompting her to jump out of the vehicle in a “panick”.
Gasag followed the victim, before raping her at the famous Southernmost Point buoy in Key West.

“I’m actually calling from Boston,” he said, according to a report by WCVB.
“But, bear with me, this is going to sound crazy. But, I’m at work and I have, you know, the Southernmost Point camera?
“I could almost swear I saw someone being raped.”

A few minutes later, the woman stumbled off the buoy and ran. Gasag appears immediately after and can be seen unzipping his pants.
Police later found the victim after several witnesses also reported seeing “naked women, crying and screaming”.
Gasag returned to the scene that night “and scooped up his clothes” in an attempt to hide the evidence.
