Jackson addressed the video in a tweet, writing: “Here’s the outfit tho… you’re a mom.” The criticism did not end there because the lover of the “Akeelah and the Bee” actress continued to mock her in a second message.
“We live in a generation where a man in the family doesn’t want his wife & mother of his children showing booty cheeks to please others & he is told how hateful he is,” explained the father of one, reiterating that his lover’s actions were against his belief.
“This is my family & my representative. I have standards & morals with what I believe. I rest my case,” Jackson concluded his tweet. While Palmer didn’t publicly respond to her comments, the TV personality subtly applauded by sharing more photos of her outfit from the night that went viral.
Weeks after the pair’s social media spat, Usher defended the “Joyful Noise” star. Speaking to PEOPLE, the Texan insisted that nothing untoward happened as the couple was having fun.
“I think everybody’s vision or version of what they think is going on there just brings you back to really having fun in Las Vegas. And that’s what I expected from him,” the 8-time Grammy winner began, noting the moment had been blown out of proportion.

“Instead, it’s a conversation about what’s going on with us having fun in front of the audience or a conversation about the song,” the 44-year-old revealed. According to the chart-topper, the public’s reaction to the event left him worried about future performances with audience members.
“Every night, I think about how the world right now is going to react to this moment that I’m going to do with whoever I choose to sing with,” Usher confessed. Despite her concerns, the R&B star insists her interaction with Palmer deserves attention because it’s “fun.”
“But it’s a pop moment, and it’s fun to have at least a conversation, and we’re just keeping it light. I don’t see anything negative happening in Las Vegas,” the entertainer claimed.
As for his infamous status as a “Domestic Terrorist,” a label given to the hitmaker by fans after the incident, the Texas man was not offended. Laughing at the nickname, Usher said: “The internet is crazy. You can’t beat the internet.”

While appearing on his girlfriend’s “Baby, This is Keke Palmer” podcast, the personal trainer said their relationship suffers from a need for perfection. In the words of a fitness instructor: “It’s like, you almost feel the pressure of having to be perfect.”
“So it really confused me and got into my head because not only do I have to hold myself to that perfect standard, I hold you to that perfect standard as well,” Jackson explained.
