Bertinelli’s Christmas message comes after she finalized her divorce from her husband, Tom Vitale, in November, officially ending their ten-year marriage. Earlier in June, she shared that she had no plans to find love again amid her divorce battle.

Taking to Instagram, Bertinelli spoke from the heart as he penned an emotional message to his fans to mark the festive season.
The Food Network star also used the opportunity to appreciate her loved ones for being a pillar of support in her life throughout the year.
“Merry Christmas Everyone! As we close out another year, I can’t help but be grateful for the love and support of my family and loved ones,” Bertinelli wrote in his post, which included a uniquely designed cartoon illustration of Santa Claus.
The 62-year-old then emphasized that family time should be a priority during the holiday season before wishing his fans the best as he rejoiced in their celebrations.
She added in her thank you note, “There’s nothing like spending time with the people who matter most, and I hope you all can do the same this holiday season… Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year ! Darling, Valerie.”

After the first filing for legal separation (as reported by Explosion), last month, Bertinelli finalized her divorce from Tom Vitale after ten years of marriage.
In commemoration of the annulment, she posted a clip of herself expressing her joy at no longer being legally bound to her ex. He said in the video. “My lawyer just called. All the papers have been signed. They will be filed. On 11/22/22, I was officially divorced. Happy divorce. Finally. It’s finally over.”
He then ends the video by exclaiming, “Yes!” with a big smile on his face.
After first requesting an official separation in November 2021, Bertinelli filed for divorce six months later, in May 2022, before the divorce was finalized in November 2022.
Per Many people, the actress paid her ex-husband $2.2 million to settle all claims between them. Neither of them received spousal support, as stated in their prenuptial agreement.

As for whether she’ll be getting back on the dating car anytime soon, the actress shared on the “Today Show with Hoda Kotb” last June that it’s not part of her plans.
Her reason for opting out of love for the foreseeable future is that her divorce will make it difficult to trust anyone else with her heart.
The “Hot in Cleveland” star said on the show, per many people, “Because of the challenges I’m going through now, because the divorce is really annoying. I can’t imagine ever trusting anyone again to enter my life. So I have some trust issues that I definitely need to work through.”
