Now that “Riverdale” is over, Vanessa Morgan is focusing on her new CupshexVanessa collection.
When discussing the new collection, Morgan shared, “My goal with this collection of swimwear and cover-ups is to embody my love of nature and water and channel it into a love letter to all women and mothers before and after childbirth.”
Her son, River, and nature are her inspiration behind the new swimwear collection as she explains, “Women of all body shapes can find something they find beautiful, and moms who love to match their little ones can see them grow, shine and embrace what the outdoors has to offer — whether it’s at the beach, the pool or the River. Sunbathe, and feel amazing and confident doing so, all in the Sungai Collection!”
She added, “My love for fashion and my love to match my son, River. I love wearing clothes with that match, and it’s hard to find, especially as a mom of a boy. There is a lot of stuff for moms and matching with girls and not so much with boys, and we love to swim. It is our favorite activity to do in this house. She loves to swim, so swimming, swimsuits and swimsuits are right up our alley, and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. So, that’s the inspiration. The River was my inspo for it, and we tried to make the collaboration like nature and the atmosphere of nature for swimwear.”
