The Beckhams are one of many celebrity families filled with talented members from athletes, to fashion designers, models and chefs. Amid the wave of backlash that Brooklyn has faced in her career as a chef, Victoria reminded fans that her family is blessed with two chefs — David Beckham and her eldest son.
The fashion designer showed her more than 30 million followers that Brooklyn’s culinary specialty definitely has nothing to do with it. First, Victoria shared on Instagram a video showing her husband David’s pancake flipping skills in celebration of pancake day.
“So today is pancake day, and David is tossing,” Victoria said in the video, which shows just the former soccer star dressed casually as she shows off her skills. The former soccer star flipped the large pancake in the pan several times as his wife cheered, saying, “That’s amazing; he’s very good, he’s a thrower.”
The businessman was in full chef mode when he later asked his wife if she wanted some gooey ingredients in her pancakes, and she said yes. The former Spice Girl member proudly wrote in the caption of the post, “Throwing in the kitchen! Happy Pancake Day!! @David Beckham.”
Of course, fans were taken over by David’s incredible skills, and many of them praised him in the comments. One follower wrote, “from footy to perfect pancake throwing talent is endless David,” while another fan said, “perfect as usual.” Another fan asked, “Is there anything this guy can’t do?”
The mother-of-four also revealed that her son Brooklyn inherited the incredible skill from David in her Instagram story. He uploaded slo-mo footage of his 23-year-old son flipping pancakes in an amazing way that David had done in a previous video.
In the clip’s caption, Posh Spice told her fans that she doesn’t have those cooking skills. “I’m the only one in my family who can’t cook!” Victoria confessed. Well, it turns out the fashion designer has passed on her non-cooking skills to her daughter Harper.
Another video on her Instagram story captured Harper flipping pancakes. After Harper first tried flipping the pancake in the pan, the pancake folded on the second try. Her father quickly rushes in to help her fix things, while Victoria, laughing in the background, playfully says, “I think she got her cooking skills from me.” Victoria reiterated this in the caption of the video, writing, “what can I say…. he got it from me.”
Remember that last month, Brooklyn was criticized online for her cooking skills, and her mother defended her. It just so happens that the 23-year-old posted a video where he prepared a roast that many fans said was still raw and undercooked.
After the former model carefully finished her tutorial, she took a bite of the dish and said, “Just like they have in England. The best Sunday roast.” However, some fans didn’t think it was so good, and they expressed concern about how the dish turned out.
