Over the weekend, members of the “Fast X” cast stepped out to participate in the Charlize Theron African Outreach Project (CTAOP) Block Party 2023. According to PEOPLE, the event was held in Los Angeles on the night of May 20, with Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez in attendance and Jordana Brewster.

The trio spoke exclusively to the outlet about their late star’s daughter, who appears in the latest “Fast & Furious” sequel. Meadow’s cameo may have been brief, but her participation left lasting memories in the hearts of A-listers.
Commenting on the model’s performance, Diesel stated that seeing his close friend’s daughter carry on Paul’s legacy was life-changing. “It gives something to my soul to see him wanting to honor his father and contribute in his way to his life’s work,” the 55-year-old said “… It means everything.”
Instead, Rodriguez’s praise focused on the late “Brick Mansions” star, whom he declared would never be forgotten. “It is everything to us because [Paul’s] memory never dies in a franchise, so as long as we do, we have to keep it going, [keeping his] life force,” explained the actress.
Meanwhile, Brewster, who plays Paul’s on-screen lover, hailed Meadow as an excellent addition to the franchise. Speaking about the media personality, the 43-year-old woman stated that she is now “woven into the fabric forever.”
“Having her on set and working hard is inspiring,” the brunette gushed. In “Fast X,” the tenth installment of the box-office wonder, Meadow was cast as a flight attendant. His character had the honor of interacting with Jakob Toretto (played by John Cena). A few weeks earlier, the “Joy Ride” star’s daughter gave fans a glimpse of her cameo in a touching Instagram post.
The 24-year-old shared a behind-the-scenes image from the film’s production along with a lengthy caption describing her excitement. The opening paragraph of the creator of the Paul Walker Foundation reads:
“Preview my cameo in Fast X. The first Fast was released when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris, and more on the monitor.”
Paying tribute to his late father, the runway alum continued: “Thanks to my father, I was born into the Fast family. I can’t believe now I can be there too. With those who have seen me grow up.”

Meadow’s credit goes to “Fast X” director Louis Leterrier, whom she thanks for his “kindness, patience and support.” He also gave a special shout-out to his late father’s best friend, Brandon Birtell, who he credits for making the cameo happen.
“I am so blessed to be able to honor my father’s legacy and share this with him forever x. I love you all so much,” the MTV Movie Award winner’s daughter concluded her sweet caption.
‘Fast X’ Premiere Brings in Millions But Allegedly Lacks Previous Instalments
Meadow’s first Box Office performance may not live up to expectations, as Forbes reports a surprising record for the film. According to the outlet, the tenth installment of the action-packed franchise was ranked No. 1 at the box office in its opening weekend.
Although the film is said to have earned $318 million in global sales, “Fast X” has not topped the US box office numbers of previous franchise installments. Domestically, the film grossed $67.5 million, falling short of its predecessor “F9,” which brought in $70 million in its 2021 opening weekend.
“Fast X” is the fourth film in the action film franchise to have the smallest US opening. It drew less than half the expectations for “Furious 7,” which earned more than $147 million domestically in its opening weekend in 2015.

Frankly, the tenth installment surpassed the record of the first “Fast & Furious” film. “The Fast And The Furious” reportedly earned about $40 million in its 2001 premiere, far less than “Fast X’s” debut.
