In a new video, the “Jersey Shore” cast member talks about her experience so far and thanks her fans for their support. “Guys, you saved me again. I made it one more week on ‘Dancing With the Stars’,” Guadagnino said. “[I] has the lowest score again.”

Last week, Guadagnino and his partner, Koko Iwasaki, scored 23 out of 40, putting him at the bottom of the leaderboard, although he was not in the bottom two that evening, making him safe from elimination.

He continued, “It’s fun, but it’s challenging and there’s a lot to go through. I’m really on a journey here and you all kind of saved me and kept me with the vote so I really want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

The 34-year-old admits that she’s not a dancer by any means, and she never knows what to expect from “Dancing With the Stars” each week, but she knows the reason she’s still competing is because of her fans.

“Thank you and I’ll keep moving forward, trying to find more dances that work for me [and] that’s fun,” he continued. “I was there at the end and that’s what counts, right?”

Social media users didn’t hold back their own opinions about Guadagnino’s performance on his first night of “Dancing With the Stars,” scoring 17 out of 40 points, placing him at the bottom of the leaderboard. Not long after one night, he dealt with the backlash himself.

“The Twitter world is talking right now — some justice for Vinny is happening here, but I can’t be mad because, like, I don’t control it,” he said. “That’s what they say. I am definitely not a technical dancer. So if they’re going to look at all the techniques, the technical stuff, like, I’m sure there’s room for improvement, but the fans came out to vote and that’s the most important thing.”

Guadagnino has competition set up for him as other stars completely dominate the leaderboards week after week. TikTok star Charli D’Amelio, “Let’s Make a Deal” host Wayne Brady, Drag Queen Shangela, “Legally Blonde” actress Selma Blair and “Bachelorette” Gabby Windey are currently among the top of the leaderboard week after week.

“The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” actor Alfonso Ribeiro and “America’s Next Top Model” host Tyra Banks are now co-hosting the new season of “Dancing with the Stars” with Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough all returning as judge for this season.

The reality competition show recently moved from its home on ABC to Disney’s streaming service, Disney+, and airs every Monday night at 8pm ET.
