Lil Tay was originally born in Canada but later moved to Los Angeles. He went viral on YouTube and social media after he started posting videos in 2017, when he was just nine years old, according to the Daily Mail. Unfortunately, she is not known for her healthy content. On the other hand, his video sparked a lot of controversy.
Many of his videos show him cursing, insulting people he passes on the street, showing off large piles of money, and even starting fights. However, he gained more than 3.3 million Instagram followers for his videos and was quickly considered a rising star of the social media age.
However, she has been silent on social media for the past few years. His last Instagram post contained three slides dedicated to the death of rapper XXXTentacion following his death in June 2018. In the caption of his Instagram post, Lil Tay described the rapper as “a father figure when I didn’t have one.”
“X you really changed me. You were there for me when everyone wanted me to fail, you were there for my advice, you were there. As a father figure, when I don’t have one, you’re here, FaceTiming me and calling me for hours when I’m down, 3 hours ago you announced a Charity event we’re going to do, we’ve got everything ready, I can’t believe this, evil in the world, This is not good. I love you bro.”
Lil Tay Stirs Up Controversy With His Viral Video
Not everyone is a fan of those kid videos. In one video, Lil Tay can be seen driving a white car through a parking garage. A dog wearing sunglasses was sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle. He then gets out of the car and approaches the camera, wearing a red jacket and lots of bling.
“All grown men who hate a nine-year-old child. I don’t have a license,” he shouted into the camera. “B*tch, you don’t even have a car. I don’t have a license. I’m going to drive this.” He went on to say that he didn’t “rent” his car. “If you think I’m renting my car, you think I’m doing this?” he asked as he proceeded to kick the driver’s side door several times with his shoe.
He ended the post by saying, “Lil Tay is rich and finally getting richer.” Many fans showered the post with messages of “RIP.”
