All three are among the world’s greatest entertainers of all time, each holding a record of outstanding achievement. However, the group clashed in 2022 following the “Aladdin” star’s altercation with Chris Rock at the Oscars.
The viral moment didn’t sit well with the Indiana native who called out the couple, especially the “Girls Trip” actress, for a lack of “accountability.” A year later, the 58-year-old has put the controversial ordeal behind him and believes the two have done the same thing.

During his recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” the Hollywood veteran addressed the rumored bad blood between himself and the Smith family. When asked about the state of her friendship with her partner, the “Soul Train” alum insisted that there is no grudge.

Per ET, the NAACP Image Award recipient said, “I can say, there’s no beef. I just said, ‘Because of the situation, just take accountability so that everybody can move forward.'”
“I love Jada, I love Will, I love their whole family. I have no beef with them,” continued the TV personality, confirming his love for the famous couple. However, his feelings may not be mutual, a scenario the 58-year-old also admitted.
When asked if he believed the Smith family might hold a grudge against him, Fox replied: “Not that I know of.” Plus, the “Ella Enchanted” actress proved she has no animosity toward Will and Jada while playing a game with the show’s host.
The activity involved sharing her first thoughts about her former co-stars, including the entertainment power couple. The Indiana native who starred as Will in “Independence Day” described the father of three as “a gentleman” and “a hard worker.”
When asked about her “Set it Off” co-star, the Saturn Award nominee labeled Jada a “talented little meron.” Fox’s sweet description of his colleague comes a year after the “Kill Bill” star claimed the “Red Table Talk” co-host hasn’t contacted him since commenting on the 51-year-old’s lack of “accountability.”
Despite the lack of communication, the Syfy Award winner insists he has no problem with Jada and praised the TV personality’s husband for admitting his mistake. “I think they’re really going through a healing season right now,” the entertainer began.
“Listen, I love Will Smith. He is one of my favorite people on the planet. We all make mistakes,” continued the 58-year-old. “If anyone deserves a second chance, it’s him. I think he takes full responsibility for his actions, and he apologizes.”
Fans may remember the 94th Academy Awards going downhill after Rock made a joke about Jada’s bald head. However, Will found the jab offensive, taking to the stage to slap the comedian for attacking his wife’s alopecia struggle.

Assuring fans that she’s not against the Smiths, the “Missing” producer concluded: “I just hope we can have a little more accountability and that it doesn’t seem too selfish on Jada’s part.”
