The restaurant shared today that the Pump Restaurant Lounge will no longer be open. “It is with heavy hearts that we announce that the lease at the Pump Restaurant is expiring, and we will be closing its doors on July 5, after ten years of wonderful nights under our olive trees.”

The statement was given to TMZ and surprising, as it is one of the top restaurants featured in the popular Bravo series Vanderpump Rules. What would a show look like without a fight breaking out in a peaceful and classy atmosphere?

Lisa is no stranger to good business tactics and has assured fans that this is not the end of the trendy eatery. She and her husband, Ken Todd, who owns several restaurants with his wife, plan to expand.

What’s annoying about the expansion is that it’s not in WeHo anymore; it’s no longer in Los Angeles.

Either Lisa and Ken plan to retire in a gambling state, or they know a good business deal when they see one. He plans to open not one but two more restaurants in Vegas at Caesars Palace.

Lisa and Ken already have two restaurants in Vegas; Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, which has a similar atmosphere to Pump, and Vanderpump à Paris. This would give the power couple four restaurants in the Vegas area and possibly more if Lisa has her say.

Vegas is also a place people often visit when they want a quick getaway. In fact, the drama of Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, and Raquel Levis began to be revealed in the latest season. Leviss admitted he had some Schwartz-y interest and joked about making a move on her, which we all know now was no joke.

Lisa Vanderpump Refuses to Pay High Rent

PUMP Schedule Lisa Vanderpump apos s Reopens On October 25thMEGA

TMZ reports that one of the reasons why the beloved lounge is closing its doors is because the rent has become too high. There was a dramatic increase, almost $1 million. His show and business were successful, but that was a lot.

Lisa was not interested in forcing her hand. “While we loved our time operating the Pump, taking on another 10-year lease with a large increase in rent by the landlord was not something we were prepared to commit to. After successfully running 37+ establishments over the years, this type of rent is untenable.”

Lisa did make a deal to keep the restaurant open in June so she could celebrate one last Pride. The mogul wants to “support the local community with one last hurrah.” Do not worry; Lisa will continue to be spotted around West Hollywood.

He and Ken still have TomTom and Sur in the area. “We look forward to welcoming you all to TomTom & Sur in the coming months! Thanks for the support over the past decade; we love our staff, our customers and our time together.”

You better get your back to Pam before it’s too late!
