“WandaVision” star Kathryn Hahn and her husband of two decades, Ethan Sandler, are currently in the process of legally changing the names of their two children, 16-year-old Leonard and 13-year-old Mae. The actress and Sandler met in college at Northwestern University and continued to date.
They were reportedly in the theater and appeared in several theater productions together. After years of dating, instead of a complicated marriage, Hahn and Sandler decided to elope and marry in the early 2000s. They acted as an engaged couple in the 2001-2007 series “Crossing Jordan.”

According to a recent report by TMZ, Hahn and her husband, Sandler, filed a petition in Los Angeles last week to have “Hahn” added as a second middle name for their two children. The name will reportedly be placed before “Sandler” for both Leonard and Mae, making the teenage Leonard Henry Hahn Sandler and Mae Marie Hahn Sandler.
Neither Hahn nor Sandler revealed what prompted the sudden name change for their children. The actress has held several film roles over the years, with her most recent appearance in the MCU’s “WandaVision” being one of the most notable.

Hahn’s latest project is in the hit movie, “A Glass Onion: a Knives Out mystery,” as Claire Debella, an aspiring Governor turned soccer mom. The film is a sequel to “Knives Out,” which featured Daniel Craig as Detective Benoit Blanc. The former James Bond actor reprises his role in the recently released film.
Rian Johnson was brought in as the film’s writer and director and brought along a star-studded cast for the sequel. The list includes Craig, Hahn, Hudson, Janelle Monàe, Edward Norton, Dave Bautista and Leslie Odom Jr.

Actor Aaron Paul Also Recently Filed A Petition To Change His Name

In addition to Hahn, “Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul recently filed a petition in court, along with his wife and child, to change their names. Per TMZ, the actor, whose real last name is Sturtevant, sought to legally name himself Paul. The name is the name he has gone by in the industry for years.
Paul wasn’t the only one looking for a name change; his wife Lauren will also be included as well as Casper Emerson Paul, their son who will be renamed Ryden Caspian Paul. Although the name was not his parents’ official title, Caspian had been named Paul since birth. The name change, however, only affects his first and middle names.
The couple revealed that their reason for changing the name was to adhere to the actor’s professional name and ensure that the family name was consistent. Paul and Lauren explained that in the case of their son, they were made to give him a name at birth; however, as time went by, they chose different names.
