The first introduction to the product came on October 9, when Neuralink’s co-founder shared a photo of the perfume’s glowing red design Twitter along with the word “to come.” Three days later, Musk spammed fans with a series of tweets about the fragrance.
Buoyed by its successful launch, Tesla Inc.’s product architect. gave himself a warm pat on the back early Wednesday morning. The statement of the millionaire read“With a name like mine, getting into the fragrance business was inevitable – why did I fight for so long!?”
It looks like the South African native is enjoying his new status as the 51-year-old changed his Twitter bio to “Perfume Salesman.” Musk may have developed an interest in fragrance, but his love for investing has not diminished.
Taking a look at his cryptocurrency peers, the OpenAI co-founder announced in a separate tweet that people can buy his perfume using dogecoin. According to The Boring Company’s website, the product retails for $100 a bottle — a price many happily spend.
In another Twitter update on “Hair on Fire,” the SpaceX founder excitedly revealed that he earned about $1 million from selling no less than 10,000 bottles. Enjoying himself, the billionaire tweeted that it “doesn’t get any brighter than this” before sharing more promotional posts about the product.

According to a fellow of the Royal Society (FRS), her perfume is an “omnigender” product and “the best fragrance on Earth.” As for the item’s fragrance, one can only imagine what it smells like given its unique description.
According to the website, “Burning Hair” embodies “the essence of disgusting desire.” If this statement doesn’t scare people, the description jokingly adds that it’s like “leaning on a candle at the dinner table” without doing the work.
The final promotional message promises that the product will make customers stand out from the crowd, especially when walking through the airport. Although the name and description of the perfume was strange, it convinced 10,000 people that it was worth $100.
However, not everyone was impressed with the Tesla CEO’s product, as some Twitter users insulted the billionaire’s perfume. One individual claimed that if they wanted their hair on fire, they would ride a Tesla. At the same time, another critic slammed the entrepreneur for mocking the public. Commentators believe Musk wants to know what “silly” items he can get fans to buy by creating Burning Hair.
A third social media user accused Musk of “trying to revamp” Gwyneth Paltrow’s famous vaginal wax with her perfume. Despite the unpopular belief, this isn’t Musk’s first venture outside of cars.
