In a video posted to TikTok, a woman claimed that “The last blind item I received was about Britney Spears […] is about him trying to adopt a baby girl named Rose and there are documents and papers and then he finds out in the end [that] all that, that it was all a fraud and that he had been betrayed.” They also clarified that they do not believe Britney’s claims of cheating on her husband, claiming that the source who leaked the matter to the media had a hidden agenda as a conservator.
“And like I said, all Britney wants is a daughter,” the fan continued. “All he wanted was a baby girl. And once he realizes Sam isn’t about that and plays with him, what do you know? There is a divorce.” Unfortunately, reports of the problem have been around for a while. In March 2023, the two were photographed without their wedding rings, although the actor’s representative insisted that he only removed them for filming a movie role.

Britney announced that she was pregnant in April 2022, shortly before the two tied the knot in June 2022. At the time, Sam told Access Hollywood that she didn’t want to know the gender of the child until it was born. “That’s up to him, but I don’t want to,” he told host Mario Lopez. “That’s something I want to wait for.”
He said that the gender of the child was not important to him, adding, “If it’s a girl, she will be the most spoiled princess ever. Unfortunately, a month later, the pop star took to Instagram to tell the world that they were no longer expecting children together. “It is with our deepest sadness that we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in pregnancy,” she wrote at the time. “This is a terrible time for any parent. Maybe we should have waited to announce until we were further along but we were too excited to share the good news.”
“Our love for each other is our strength,” the statement continued. “We will continue to try to grow our beautiful family. We thank you all for your support. We ask for privacy during this difficult time.” In the caption, Britney wrote, “We are grateful for what we have in the process of growing our beautiful family. Thank you for your support.”
In her statement, Britney admitted that the couple would “continue to try to grow” their family, but she gave her fans no indication that the couple were looking to adopt.
