The Center for Economic Policy Innovation’s report highlights several other projects related to illegal immigration that federal funds are being used for, including a program in Arizona for art, music and dance classes for immigrants and the expansion of a shelter in Massachusetts.
“The Senate is releasing a supplemental budget that includes a bipartisan deal on the border. However, the administration is actively encouraging undocumented immigrants by using COVID money from SLFRF to provide cash assistance, housing, legal aid and other benefits to undocumented immigrants,” Paul Winfree, president and CEO of EPIC, told Fox News Digital.

Winfree also pointed out that there is still $120 billion in unspent money from the fund, and called on lawmakers to freeze the fund.
“Until Congress withdraws this money, it will continue to be a magnet for illegal immigrants,” he said.
The report comes amid ongoing concerns about the flow of illegal immigrants into the US Congress is negotiating an additional funding bill, which would include aid to communities that receive immigrants.
