Wendy Williams’ problems continue to mount despite her poor health, with the federal government reportedly coming for her luxury condo in New York City.
The former host of “The Wendy Williams Show” recently had a lien placed on her Big Apple home for what the government claims is more than half a million dollars in unpaid taxes.

Williams’ expensive NYC condo, which he reportedly bought for $4.5 million in 2021, is at risk as the feds claim he owes them $568,451.57. The huge amount was collected from his unpaid federal taxes for 2019 and 2021.
According to records, the tax lien was created two months ago, in January; however, it was not recorded with the New York City Department of Finance until early February. To date, there appears to be no evidence that the issue has been resolved.
However, it is possible that Sabrina Morrissey, Williams’ court-appointed financial guardian, has settled the lien. The finance officer was reportedly appointed in the spring of 2022, according to TMZ, meaning he was unaware of the alleged tax violations.

“Since Wendy went off the air, there’s been a huge void in daytime TV and pop culture. I guess there was always a glimmer of hope for him to come back, but since this diagnosis, that seems impossible. It makes me very sad.”

In his petition, Williams’ ex-husband claims he chose to file the lawsuit because he violated a court order by withholding spousal support payments. Hunter requested part of his SAG-AFTRA retirement plan to resolve this issue.
He claims that his financial custodian failed to comply despite trying to resolve the matter with the Williams team since October 2021. Morrisey allegedly agreed to provide bank statements but later limited the disclosure.
