Wendy Williams is not the only one facing financial problems.
The “Wendy Williams Show” host’s son, Kevin Jr., is also “in the hole” for thousands.
He has defaulted on the rent in his luxury Miami, Fl. apartment since February.
Wendy Williams’ Son Sued

The apartment complex has hit Kevin Jr. with a lawsuit demanding $70k in back rent for non-payment, according to documents obtained by US Sun.
According to the documents, Williams paid over $100k on the apartment for his 22-year-old son for the first year of the lease, which begins in March 2021 and ends this February.
Kevin agreed to continue paying the rent on a monthly basis after the one-year lease period.
Williams’ son responded to the lawsuit by telling the court his mother rented the apartment for him.
He Owes $70k In Back Rent

This is important, because earlier this year, news broke that Wendy’s bank, Wells Fargo, believed she was mentally unfit to handle her money. They also think he needs someone to monitor his finances.
According to legal documents obtained by us, the financial institution wrote a letter to a New York City Judge demanding that a hearing be held to determine whether Williams needed personal “care” to look after his money.
Kevin Can’t Pay Rent Because Mama’s Account Is Freezed

“We care about [Wendys’] situation, it is our hope that the Care section [of the courts] will immediately appoint a temporary guardian or assessor to review the situation and ensure that [Wendys’] the matter is being handled properly,” wrote the bank’s lawyer.
Wells Fargo went as far as deeming Williams “incapacitated” and claiming he was “a victim of undue influence and financial exploitation.”
This background information is important, because Kevin’s lease payments lapsed starting when Williams’ assets were frozen.
Kevin explained that as the lease neared its end “my mother went through some health issues that put the court in control of her finances,” and that “all the financial support she had always provided stopped,” including her housing.

The 22-year-old was in school full-time, but had to take a year off due to COVID and look after the veteran shocker.
“For medical and legal reasons, he has not been able to pay rent for the past few months since the 1-year lease ended and the court took control of his finances,” Kevin said. “Everything happened so quickly and unexpectedly and I had no idea things would end up like this.”
He said he would move out on September 7th.
Wendy’s Ex-Husband Potentially Facing Foreclosure
Kevin’s father also faces housing problems as Williams’ assets are frozen.
US Sun reports that her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter Sr., claims she could face foreclosure if her alimony payments don’t continue.
Her monthly payments, which Williams made as agreed upon in their divorce, suddenly stopped in February.
Williams’ ex-husband asked the court to order Williams’ guardian “to make payments as contractually required under the MSA and Severance Agreement.”
