Who is Jenny Hannigan? The woman arrested at Trump trial is no stranger to run-ins with law enforcement

The woman arrested after she tried to call former President Donald Trump in a Manhattan courtroom on Wednesday has been identified as the secretary of a Queens judge who is no stranger to legal turmoil.

Jenny Hannigan — who claimed she wanted to help Trump during his civil fraud trial in Lower Manhattan — was arrested in 2015 after going on a rampage at a Brooklyn gas station, according to police sources.

Hannigan was charged with damaging a credit card machine and was charged with resisting arrest, police sources told The Post.

Two years earlier, Hannigan filed a federal lawsuit against Nassau County police, alleging she was sexually assaulted in the back of a police car during a 2011 DUI arrest.

Once Hannigan was placed in the back of the car, Officer Gary Zima allegedly “plac[ed] his hands and fingers in and around her [her] vagina and vaginal area,” The Post previously reported.

His female partner is accused of looking the other way during the alleged attack.

The woman who was arrested after she tried to call Donald Trump in a Manhattan courtroom on Wednesday has been identified as Jenny Hannigan, the secretary of Queens judge Steven Hirsch.

The alleged assault was “undetermined” following an internal investigation, but Zima was accused of violating policy after firing off a text to Hannigan three days after the arrest when she asked him “how he’s doing,” CBS New York reported at the time.

Court records show that Hannigan settled with Nassau County and police for an undisclosed amount in February 2016.

Hannigan was stopped by court officials before he could approach the former president, who was sitting with his attorney at the defense table, Chalfen said in a statement.

A Post scribe in the courtroom did not hear Hannigan yelling, but he was later caught talking loudly in the hallway after court officials escorted him out.

“Help me! Save me!” he screamed for several minutes as officers handcuffed him, according to court sources.

Outside the courtroom, he expressed his support for Trump.

“I have a right to be here. I’m an American citizen and I’m also an employee of the court,” he told court officials, NBC News video shows.

“And I’m also here just to support Donald Trump.”

The secretary — who posted a CNN article titled “Trump’s turbulent, lawless presidency will end in second historic impeachment” on Facebook in 2021 — has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.

Hannigan was also barred from the state court building.

He was charged with one count of second-degree contempt of court for disrupting the hearing and given a table appearance ticket.

Hannigan wasn’t home when The Post knocked on his Queens address, but neighbor Ken Larson was shocked to learn of his strange arrest.

“She’s a beautiful woman,” he told The Post.

“She is actually a very beautiful person,” he added.
