Whoopi Goldberg has slammed Donald Trump for comments he made about the mismanagement of the Social Security benefits program. He claimed that “Social Security is not a right,” adding that US citizens “pay for it.”
He previously slammed the Supreme Court decision that added Trump back to the state of Colorado’s ballot for the next presidential election.

On Tuesday’s episode of “The View,” co-host Goldberg discussed Trump’s comments about the United States running Medicare and Social Security programs, each Fox News.
The former president has said during CNBC’s “Squawk Box” that “there is a lot” that can be done “in terms of “cutting back and also theft and poor management of rights.”
“I know that they’re going to end up undermining Social Security because this country is weak,” Trump added, taking advantage of policies already in place by President Joe Biden.
In response to Trump’s remarks, Goldberg directed a dig at the billionaire, saying, “Yes, we can put you in jail for all your rights.”
He then added, “Social Security is not a right. We paid for that,” amid cheers from the studio audience.
Whoopi Goldberg Previously Criticized the Supreme Court’s Colorado Decision

This is the second time this month that Goldberg has taken shots at Trump during “The View.” Last time, he weighed in on the Supreme Court’s decision to allow Trump to be put back on the ballot for Colorado and other states that had previously disqualified him.
“The thing that bothers me about this, and I know it’s probably the right decision, is I hate that we’ve normalized this guy,” Goldberg told his co-host at the time, per make decisions. “It really annoys the shit out of me that we’ve normalized him and his bad behavior.”
He then admitted that he had been a “big fan of the Supreme Court,” which he followed up with an accusatory statement about them giving Trump protection through their rulings.
“He’s again given rubber to wear and walk through excrement—” he said, adding, “Yes, yes, you heard me” to show that he didn’t mince his words.
Supreme Court Decision Disqualifies Donald Trump From Colorado Vote

The Supreme Court decision follows months of debate over whether Colarado’s decision to impeach Trump under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment should stand.
The state disqualified Trump after a petition was brought by a group of voters who argued Trump should be disqualified from the ballot, alleging that he had a role in the January 6, 2021 riots at the US Capitol.
In that decision, the Supreme Court said that Colorado and other states were not authorized to invoke the rebellion clause.
“We conclude that the State can disqualify persons holding or attempting to hold state office. But the States have no power under the Constitution to enforce Section 3 in respect of federal offices, especially the Presidency,” read their unanimous decision, per CNN.
They added, “Nothing in the Constitution delegates to the States any power to enforce Section 3 against federal office holders and candidates.”
Former President Is Still On Track To Become The Republican Presidential Nominee

Despite several attacks on his candidacy and comments criticizing him as the wrong choice, Trump is still on track to become the Republican presidential nominee in the US election later this year.
She took the lead in the Republican primary on Super Tuesday, earning 995 delegates to rival Nikki Haley’s 89. Haley has since dropped out of the race, leaving Trump with a clear path to collect the 1,215 delegates needed to clinch the Republican Party’s presidential nomination later this month.
In his speech after the victory, Trump described the upcoming election as “the most important day in the history of our country” before promising to make America great again.

GoFundMe Launches For Donald Trump Stalls At $1.3 M

In the midst of his legal battle, MAGA Trump supporters set up a GoFundMe to help the former president pay the huge bill from his attempted fraud in New York City.
Elena Cardon, wife of real estate mogul Grant Cardone, launched a GoFundMe to raise $355 million the president was initially fined by New York Judge Arthur Engoron.
However, fundraising, which started strong, has slowed significantly, with almost no new contributions. As of this writing, money raised stands at $1,349,443 from almost 24,000 MAGA donors.
Speaking about GoFundMe, Elena said, “We want to be clear about the purpose of using the funds obtained. Every dollar will be used only to cover fines related to the New York civil fraud case, its appeal and any related expenses.”
Although Trump has not personally acknowledged the existence of the GoFundMe page, Elena revealed that she is in contact with the former president’s team to make sure he receives the money raised.
