Why Jimmy Fallon Is Spot-On Wishing Fans “A Happy 2nd Of July”

Although Fallon is known for prying secrets from his celebrity guests on his show, “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” he himself is a rather secretive family man. Married to film producer Nancy Juvonen, the couple share two daughters, 8-year-old Frances Cole and almost 10-year-old Winnie Rose.

On Sunday, July 2, the 48-year-old talk show host shared a rare photo of the family, taken on a dock with golden rays of sunlight hitting them just right. Fallon held Frances on his hip while a laughing Juvonen hugged Winnie.

Fallon captioned the photo, “I only agreed to take this picture if I could stand on dry dock. Happy 2nd of July!”

Fans immediately commented in appreciation:

“Wow, your daughter is growing like a weed! Enjoy the weekend!”

“I’ve been following and watching you forever, how TF did I not know you were MARRIED??? WITH TWO CHILDREN????”

“Beautiful family. Wife looks like one of the kids!!”

Others feel that Nancy, his wife, is the reason why Fallon never really liked Nicole Kidman after he confessed that he liked her!

Jimmy Fallon Is Pretty Honest If He Loves Dad

Although Fallon keeps most of his family life private, preferring to let celebrities dump all the skeletons in their closets, he appeared with his wife and daughter in a Frito-Lays Christmas campaign, though he wasn’t sure about it.

Said the comedian, “I went, ‘I don’t know, man.’ Not about them getting [in] business, but I don’t know if they are good actors. They are not child actors. I don’t know if they’ll be good, it’s probably a waste of everyone’s time.”

But apparently his wife thinks the girls look cute and if they’re in, she’s in and so is Fallon doing the Frito-Lays campaign! He later admitted, “It turned out great. They are good actors. My girls got a good laugh.”

Fallon also admitted that being a dad has made him more compassionate than ever, saying, “My biggest revelation [about fatherhood] is how far I end up babysitting other people’s kids if that makes sense. You get more. When I didn’t have kids, if I heard a baby crying in a restaurant, I’d think, ‘Can you stop the crying and go around the block?’ Now I’ll be like, ‘Give me the baby – how can I help? I’ve been there.’” Sweet, right?

Why Happy 2nd Of July Means As Much As 4th Of July!

Coming up on another important point, Fallon wished his fans a Happy July 2nd, which basically, could be called the actual Independence Day.

According to the Constitution Center, “Officially, the Continental Congress declared its independence from Great Britain on July 2, 1776, when it voted to approve a resolution presented by delegate Richard Henry Lee of Virginia, declaring ‘That this United Colony is, and rightly ought to be, a State. who are free and independent, that they are released from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connections between them and the State of Great Britain are, and ought to be, completely dissolved.’”

John Adams believed July 2nd would be marked as a great day in American history, but it took him a while to draft the Declaration of Independence and it was printed on July 4th. Pick your Independence Day but either way, Happy Independence Day to all!
