Reports claim that the actress was informed by her friends about the comedian’s comments, which refer to their spat at the 2022 Oscars.
Smith reportedly asked Rock to drop the incident and was “disgusted” with the streaming platform for allowing the “Everybody Hate Chris” star to share such a message.

According to a source who spoke to the publication, the “Emancipation” star, who doesn’t watch the Netflix special but received feedback from friends, seemed surprised that the comedian still held a grudge after this despite numerous social media apologies.
Afterward, an insider revealed that Smith wanted Rock to “let it go,” adding that the actor “has been working on himself” since the incident heard around the world.
Smith is also reportedly “frustrated” with Netflix for giving comedians a platform to spread these views, which he finds “offensive.”

During the Netflix special, Rock pulled no punches while speaking openly about the incident between him and Smith for the first time.
A monologue that took place towards the end of the show saw the “Everybody Hate Chris” star describe the “King Richard” actor as someone who practices “selective rage.”
Rock also insisted that Smith’s slap was an undignified outlet for the actor to vent his pent-up anger over his wife’s affair with August Alsina.
Multiple times, she called the actor a “b**ch” and also shared that several outlets also called Will using the same word when he appeared on Jada’s “Red Table Talk” show to talk about his entanglement with “Soon As I.” Walk In Singer”.
Rock also blamed the two for discussing their personal matters in public, as he wouldn’t have talked about it if it had been out in the open.
