Earlier this week, the “Girls Trip” actress, 52, shocked the world when she revealed that she and Will Smith, 55, have been living “separate lives” with no plans to divorce. The news comes shortly before the release of his new memoir, “Worthy,” which is scheduled for release on October 17. Although Will is famous for yelling, “Keep my wife’s name out of your mouth!” at the infamous Oscar ceremony, it seems she didn’t think of herself as a “wife” for a long time.
Over the weekend, a source told the Daily Mail that the children hope they can use this as an opportunity to “heal” from what they have been through over the past few years, as insiders claim they have been “very upset” after lying for mum their father and pretend that all is well in the household when their parents are, in fact, separated.

“Even though Jaden and Willow love their mom unconditionally and take a lot of her behavior and personality, they are so relieved that the news is finally out that everyone can move on, no one is getting any younger,” a source claimed, adding that the two “uncomfortable” dealing with intrusive questions about their parents’ relationship.
“They all want everyone to be honest with themselves and not hold grudges or secrets anymore,” the source continued. “Jaden and Willow hope that everyone can now heal and remove any drama that may still be in their world now that all the revelations have been released.”

Another insider went on to say that Will and Jada have “put their kids in a very weird and uncomfortable situation.” They also revealed that, although Willow has always had a close relationship with her mother, she’s not comfortable with how much dirty laundry Jada has been posting about their family lately.

“They were constantly asked about their parents and for seven years they basically had to lie to everyone and pretend that everything was fine when they knew it wasn’t,” the insider said. “This makes them very restless at times and they will always fight with each other and with them.”
The source later claimed that Willow has always sided with her mother when it comes to arguments between the pair. “Willow has so much animosity towards Will in particular. He will always be on Jada’s side in something,” the source said. “He doesn’t know why his mother had to go and tell the world all their dirty laundry. He felt like he was laughed at by all his peers.”
