Hollywood star Will Smith has responded to Jada Pinkett Smith’s book, worthy, which debuted on October 17. The actor praised his estranged wife in a letter read to him in an upcoming episode of Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast.
Over the past few days, social media has been flooded with Jada’s bombshells, one of which revealed that she has been separated from Will for the past seven years.

The “Emancipation” star also told New York Times in an email that Jada’s bombshell revelation while promoting her book “kind of woke” her up to see the “hidden nuances” she had.
“When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a kind of emotional blindness sets in, and you can easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauty,” the actress said, per The Daily Mail.

Will’s reaction comes more than a month after Jada revealed on her Instagram page that writing the project was “emotionally taxing,” adding that it was “really technical.”
At that time, he also told fans that he will start sharing some of the process of how he gave birth to the book, which he started writing in December 2021.
The Maryland-born beauty previously told Many people in June exclusively that he wrote the book to take back his narrative of his journey.
He told the publication, “A lot of people feel because of my talk show ‘Red Table Talk’ that they know my journey. And they really don’t. There is so much about my journey that I cannot share in a format like RTT.”
He also revealed that he named the book Worth it because she wanted to write about her journey to “self-esteem in a real way”. Additionally, he shared that the book covers “everything” and hopes it “enhances one’s perspective on their own life.”
