William Friend, husband of One Tree Hill Star Bevin Prince, died tragically as a result of being struck by lightning. The accident happened while he was on a boat in North Carolina near Masonboro Island over the weekend. Emergency medical services tried to save him for 20 minutes after the accident, which happened while William was on the boat.
While in the ambulance, William was pronounced dead.
