A knife-wielding woman allegedly stabbed three people — including a police lieutenant — inside Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday, officials said.
The chilling footage shows the woman, identified by WSBTV as Damaris Milton, 44, brandishing the blade at the approaching officer as the hiker stands not far away, separated only by glass.
Police were alerted at about 4:45pm to the armed woman standing outside a security checkpoint near the south terminal of the airport, which has domestic flights.
Milton’s alleged stabbing began when he attacked his taxi driver upon arrival at the airport, before police tried to restrain him in an area and “restrict his movements.”
When police tried to talk Milton into dropping the knife, he allegedly stabbed an airport clerk and an APD lieutenant in the leg.
All three victims are in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
A woman is accused of stabbing three people, including a police officer, inside an Atlanta airport. Moments before Milton stabbed two people, he stabbed his male taxi driver upon arrival at the airport, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Milton was arrested and taken into custody following the stabbing.
“There seems to be no connection between him and them [victims], but that is something we will look into,” said Atlanta police Sgt. John Chafee.
“Charges will be filed at some point,” Chafee said as police were still figuring out what caused Milton to lash out.

Other footage posted to social media captured other tourists queuing at the security gate kneeling for safety.
Sarah Nagem, of Raleigh, North Carolina, said she heard someone say “Get on the floor, get on the floor,” the Journal Constitution reported.
Nagem said he never saw the suspect but was instructed by someone to stay on the floor saying, “They [airport staff] trying to reassure us that, you know, we’re safe, not someone trying to create random violence.”
