If Penn Badgley And Joe Goldberg Met In Real Life, Badgley Would Do This…

The 36-year-old actress recently explained what she would do if she met Goldberg in real life on Stitcher’s podcast “Podcrushed.” “So, let’s say he’s someone I’m obsessed with and, somehow, I can meet him under control and he’s interested in listening to me,” he said. “And, by the way, it will be in my tone. The question is simple, but it will be in my tone.”

He goes on to explain that Goldberg just needs love. “I really, at this point, and I think I’ve been clear about how much I hate everything he does, so, in that context, I’m actually going to try to love him. Because, the truth is, he never got that,” he explained. “Because of my relationship with him, I will try to love him. I’m not saying he deserves it. I’m not saying anyone else should do that. I said I would try to love him. He needs that. He needs love. It’s like, I’m going to hug him…I’m going to hold him.”

“You” Season 4 Will Be Different From Previous Seasons

While discussing the upcoming season of the hit show, Badgley explained that things are different this time around. “I’m not a beloved bookstore manager in New York, or a store clerk in LA, or a doting husband in the suburbs. Nope. Not anymore,” he said. “Allow me to introduce myself. I went through a bit of a refinement when I crossed the Pond, and living in London has allowed me to bury the past, if you will.”

The first three seasons of “You” are currently available to watch on Netflix. Part 1 of season 4 will be released on February 10 and part 2 on March 10.
