During a pre-screening interview at the VMAs, the new couple discussed how their relationship came about. “We met online. Yeah. We connected instantly,” Yung Gravy said. “I’m from the farthest north, she’s from the farthest south. I’m into MILFs and she’s like a MILF queen, so I think it’s just a perfect match.”

Easterling, 42, is mother to popular TikTok creator Addison Rae, 21, and sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8, with estranged husband Monty Lopez. She was first linked to the rapper, 26, earlier this month after he announced he wanted to take her out on the “BFFs” podcast. When asked if the MILF thing is true, Yung Gravy said yes, but he’s “not just loyal to the MILF.” “I had an experience with a much older woman when I was in high school and again in college before any rapping,” he said. “It feels right. A month before the podcast aired, a source close to the Easterling family told PEOPLE that Easterling and Lopez had been living separately for a while. “They have been separated for a year. Sheri and the boys have been living in Louisiana,” the source said. News of the couple’s split comes after Renee Ash, a 25-year-old influencer, claimed she had been in a relationship with Lopez, 46, for five months.
