Tributes have poured in for Angus Cloud following his sudden death and his “Euphoria” co-star Zendaya is no exception.
The actress took to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon to share her statement, admitting that there are no words to express her grief at losing not only a costar but a close friend.

In a thoughtful Instagram message, Zendaya shared a black-and-white photo of the actor. “Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor),” he began. “I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to know him in this life, to call him brother, to see his warm eyes and bright smile, or to hear his infectious laugh (I smile now just thinking about it).”
“I know people use this expression a lot when talking about their loved ones…’they can light up any room they walk into’ but boy let me tell you, he is the best at it. I want to remember it that way,” he continued. “For all the infinite light, love and joy he always gave us. I will cherish every moment.”

“This news is tragic and it will take time to process,” they continued. “Rest in peace Angus, you will meet your father in heaven. He was a son, a brother, someone’s friend, someone’s role model and I hope everyone who knew him finds strength in this difficult time.”

Just before Zendaya made her statement, “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson also mourned the loss of the young actress. “There is no one like Angus. He was too special, too talented, and too young to leave us so soon,” he said, before adding, “He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knows how many hearts he touched. I like him. I always will. Rest in peace and God bless his family.”
“Euphoria” actress Sydney Sweeney also took to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon to share her tribute with an Instagram carousel full of photos of the two of them together. “Angus you are an open soul, with the kindest heart, and you fill every room with laughter,” she began. “This is the hardest thing I’ve ever posted, and I’m struggling to find all the words.”

The official Twitter account of “Euphoria” also shared HBO’s statement about his passing, which read, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He is very talented and is part of HBO and Euphoria family. Our condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.”

Actress Rachel Zegler took to Twitter to share a short poem dedicated to the late actor. “Please remember how much I love you. the world is so quick to make you feel otherwise. there is reason to endure. and the world needs you,” he wrote before concluding, “oh, angus. we celebrate you.”
On Monday, the late actor’s family announced that he had died at the age of 25. “Last week he buried his father and is struggling with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his father, who was his best friend,” the family said in a statement. “Angus has been open about his struggles with mental health and we hope his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and don’t have to fight it alone in silence.”
