In a new documentary about her 2006 sexual encounter with former US President Donald Trump, Stormy Daniels reveals more details about what allegedly happened. The documentary, titled “Stormy,” premiered on the Peacock on March 18 and features Daniels alleging that Trump cornered and groped her in her hotel room.
The nearly two-hour documentary, produced by Erin Lee Carr and directed by Sarah Gibson, features interviews with Hollywood big names such as Seth Rogen and Jimmy Kimmel as well as some of Daniels’ family and friends.
There’s also testimony from reporters like Olivia Nuzzi and Denver Nicks, who started dating Daniels while they were working together on the project.
In “Stormy,” the adult film star shares details about the period leading up to her meeting with Trump and the outcome of her lawsuit. This includes an alleged $130,000 hush money payment, which was first reported by the Wall Street Journal. Prosecutors allege that Trump paid Daniels a settlement to silence him before the 2016 presidential election.
The settlement money was eventually used against Trump in a federal lawsuit for falsifying business records. The businessman was charged because prosecutors claimed the payments were part of his “catch and kill” scheme. Trump has repeatedly denied knowing Stormy or paying him, but his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, has testified under oath that Trump ordered the payment.

During a 2018 interview on CBS’ “60 Minutes,” Daniels shared her side of the alleged sexual encounter with Trump. At the time, he claimed it was completely consensual, but in a new documentary, he says it was actually a lot different than his initial story.
According to Los Angeles TimesDaniels claims that after their first meeting in her hotel room, she used the bathroom briefly, and when she came out, the business mogul cornered her.
Stormy said, “I don’t remember how I got on the bed, and then the next thing I know, he’s on his back and telling me how great I am. It was horrible. But I didn’t say no.”
Later in the documentary, Daniels explained that she still insists that Trump did not rape her because she never really said no or rejected him.
He said, “But I’m not saying no because I’m 9 years old again.” Daniels uses this to reference her experience of being sexually abused by a neighbor as a child, which she previously revealed in her memoir “Full Disclosure”.

In the new documentary, Daniels reveals that she still blames herself for not saying no to Trump and finds it hard to move on.
She said, “To this day, I blame myself and I don’t forgive myself because I didn’t cover his a at the time, so maybe make him stop before he tries it with someone else.”
The adult film star also said she feels “partially responsible” for all the women Trump could attack after him. The politician has faced a barrage of accusations in the years before and after Daniels first revealed allegations from former model Amy Dorris and writer Natasha Stoynoff.
The release of Daniels’ new documentary comes on the heels of Super Tuesday, which appears to confirm Trump’s ticket as the Republican nominee for the upcoming presidential election against Joe Biden. His final opponent for the ticket, Nikki Haley, has officially announced the end of her campaign.

Trump has now responded to Daniels’ new documentary through campaign spokesman Steven Cheung.
follow L.A. Times, he said, “The only thing Stormy Daniels can count on is changing her story when there’s money to be made. He has lost heavily in court and owes President Trump over $600,000 for defaming him – none of which he has paid,”
Cheung added, “He has NEVER told the truth about President Trump, and this ‘documentary’ is just a last-chance, low-budget fantasy sequel for a long-standing pseudo-celebrity. He has once again opened himself up to great legal liability and will soon be held accountable.”

She said she had been severely harassed and received threats so violent that she feared she or her daughter might be harmed.
The author also spoke about his experience with his previous lawyer, Michael Avenatti, who was convicted of stealing the proceeds of Daniels’ book two years ago.
Avenatti also appealed the court’s conviction, but on Wednesday, it was unanimously upheld by a federal appeals court.
Regardless of the negative treatment she’s received, Daniels said she refuses to stay silent about her experience with Trump and how the Justice system has failed her.
He said, “I’m here today to tell my story, and even if I only change a few people’s minds, that’s okay. If not, at least my daughter can look back on this and know the truth.”
